to be fair, I just realised that maybe fitting my antique weinmann levers to some deda pista drops may not really be a good idea. So, at some point in the following week I'll get myself a nice pair of road drops, some of them shimano brake levers, and some NEW cables! woohoo! and maybe even a cheap pair of spd-sl's... And then change my work schedule from saturday to shudder sunday :(

the baggies were saving the blushes that my slightly see-through lycra shorts (that i was wearing underneath) would have caused had I not covered up.

I have learned my lesson I can assure you, they didn't exactly allow me to slice through that wind.

Aha, I thought I recognised you from track day.

I was going anti-clock, in the little ring. only a couple of laps though as my TP requires 2hour rides atm.

I clocked you too but wasn't 100% sure.

I chinned it after 3 laps, did a 19, 20 and another 20.

Got really hungry for a bacon and egg sandwich.

I did about 35 laps today, plus 5. Get me.

I've just had a facon/Emmental/ketchup sandwich.

What tediously similar lives we all lead.

I had coffee and walnut cake when I got home.

What's with the Emmental?

Dunno - it was in the fridge. My wife buys it occasionally for her packed lunch. It added a nice nutty velvetiness to the sandwich.

Anyway, you'd be craving Emmental if you'd done 40 laps.

35 Inner + 5 Outer. Most of the shorter laps done at a jaw-dropping 12mph :)

12mph and 160rpm no doubt ;)

40 laps! I just couldn't cope with that amount of repetition. Well done.
