harrumph... hgmmmph.. is this always going to be on saturdays? :(
And when you say taped drops with brakes, I take it you do mean a front and rear? Not really a problem for me, but potentially for my GF who is currently looking at buying a track bike with no rear drilling...

Single brake for fixed is just dandy.
If you want anyone to not go with, that fits my schedule.

I've just got oil all over my carpet changing my gearing so I'm coming (with a single brake) even if it's stinking outside. Gah.

Cool, I'm planning on not going there at about half 8, and instead going to work. Shall I not meet you on the way?

to be fair, I just realised that maybe fitting my antique weinmann levers to some deda pista drops may not really be a good idea. So, at some point in the following week I'll get myself a nice pair of road drops, some of them shimano brake levers, and some NEW cables! woohoo! and maybe even a cheap pair of spd-sl's... And then change my work schedule from saturday to shudder sunday :(

Not meeting up on the way to our respective places of work sounds perfect. Won't see you tomorrrow.

Neither will I. Just in case, what won't you be wearing?

I got blown-off on Wandsworth bridge tonight, actually buffeted and forced into a half-fall. Just thought I'd say. So I will be coinciding my morning commute to not meet any of you and what I won't be wearing is anything with a drag factor. If I can just do up the zip on this Speedo bodysuit...

Scott sign up to Rolla CC fella if you're interested in more road riding especially on Sundays. Julia have fun tomorrow in the Surrey Hills.
Clive, Claus and adoubletap, always a pleasure riding with you guys. Its nice to be back in RP.

Good work guys. When I looked out of my window towards the park and saw hailstones this morning I decided against a ride today. Will be out with you lot in the future no doubt.

Yep dust down that track bike Dave, do you have drilled forks?

• #145
The Donahue is for the track only.
The Mercian is for everything else and it does have a brake. -
