With the advent of the Note 2 does this mean that I can forget about any OS upgrades for my Note 1?
-
• #9635
I got the Nexus 7 coming to me tomorrow or Monday. Thanks everyone who helped me and my silly question.
Note 2 for me in March unless something beats it (but I want a samsung phone next!)

Those of you with Nexus 7's have you got your 4.2 update yet? Was saying I was current last night, again will check for updates when I get home.
Ours updated last night.
Seems to have done something to the brightness though - has started changing randomly while you're doing stuff.
Will be setting up new users tonight.Makes it a completely epic device.

Nexus 7 is the best tablet I've used. You haven't made a wrong decision.
Anyway found some left over birthday money and I might stump up for one :)
P.S. Been using google music today, absolutely fantastic. Still don't have all my music online but 3k out of 9k isn't too bad!!

Multiple users is awesome! So simple to use. Oddly gtalk is only available for the owner :(
There is an option to turn auto-brightness on or off -

Google music is indeed great, unless you don't have unlimited data plan. I used 300mb in a day, just listening to tunes.

Well I'm on wifi most of the day - also unlimited policy.
It's awesome though that anywhere in the house - so long as I've got my phone I've got my whole music collection.

you can get it to download/cache your fav playlists though can't you?
-
• #9642
Also how does google music work across multiple devices?
For example - Mrs. Spenceey has an android phone but we both use the same itunes account. Can she login to my account on google music on her phone and use it? Or would it conflict because she's using a different google account for everything else on her phone?

So if Google Play Music is so awesome,
I have a question about music that was bought a long time ago and some that wasnt at all [/theshame]. Im concerned i might be done for having it. Is this a valid concern?
Right now its in my personal posession with no way of verifying. once its hosted, can it be checked?
Or can i use it like you guys?

should help :)
TL:DR - 20,000, none of which can be over 250mb per track

I'm most of the way through uploading 70-odd GB. If you have popular stuff, it'll just match it with tracks that are already on their system, but unique things will be uploaded in full. I have loads of live standup recordings I've done myself which haven't been distributed, so it's taking a while.

@weightweenydolan No one will know unless it's been watermarked in some way...
I've got craploads of stuff that I ripped from CD/vinyl myself, tons of dodgy D/L stuff...
All up on my Google Music page now... -
