Picked up a Nexus 7 on Friday and I'm very impressed with the speed and the size of the tablet. Jellybean, Google Now and considering rooting but may wait a while...

Having problems with Skype video calling on htc flyer and one s. is this common.. Is there a fix?

I think I was the first on this forum to get the Galaxy Note. I thought then, as I still do, that a 5 inch screen wasn't too big at all. Now Lenovo is getting in on the act, with their own 5 inch model. Specs look tasty, though I don't know if it will be Europe-bound.

Have you enabled it in the Skype settings?

It's a terrible shame that HTC have gone into decline. They used to build decent devices. Alloy casing and so on.

They are? I was fairly please with the build quality of their One series, especially the V which felt pretty good.

Nice hardware on the outside, but they could at least learn how to make a wifi antenna work and do some more work on usability.

I've yet to come across a service that let's you download a film to an android tablet. As you say its all rentals.

pelotonfiend, I'd run films from a USB stick, which with the adaptor, runs easily on a Note,.........or most high powered Android devices?

Anyone else noticed problems with the most recent Google Maps update? My phone's been falling over since installing it. I've reinstalled now and it seems ok but this is a bit shit Google...

Yes. I have noticed that the most recent update is horrendously buggy and slow as fuck too.

I'll try re-installing.

I tried clearing cached data, rebooting, uninstalling all that but it doesn't seem to make a difference. There's a few others with the issue on google groups..

The new version of Google My Tracks seems to totally destroy the ability to get a sane GPS lock on my S3.

Also are those new samsung TV's running a version of android? Looking at the pictures it would appear so but I'd be interested as to how they've made the interface work on a TV.

That's great that it works on devices we're not actually talking about but I'm kinda after information about fixing it on a HTC Sensation. For now I'm leaving it uninstalled.

Not that I've seen. I can, however, control my tv, washing machine and tumbledryer from my phone. All samsung.
