If you rent from play store, you get 30 days to watch them. How long is your holiday?

Only a week. But you only get to watch them for 48 hours. Did want the kids to be able to watch things a few times ideally, but will prob go with that for now.

I think you have to press a pin when they're on your home screen to download them if you're not going to have any wifi. Not tried it yet mind...

I did that with the free one they give you with the device. Downloaded in no time at all, it's pretty well compressed.

I haven't watched it yet, but it appears to have worked.

I find I hit the home button when I slap the space bar... it bugs the hell out of me.

Oh I see what you mean. I like the fact I can still type and hold it as if its a phone in portrait mode does that make sense?

Screen is smashed on my one x, and isn't working at all. I want to get all my photos and contacts off it before taking it in, in case they replace it or it gets wiped.

I've plugged it into my laptop, but can't press "connect through usb" or whatever it says on the phone, as the screen isn't working, is there a way round this?

Your contacts will all be synced to Gmail, so no worries there.

If you had g+ installed there is a good chance that all your photos have been auto uploaded too.

Main issue is SMS, if you want to keep them?

On the plus side, sim only contract with unlimited data (inc tethering) is now just £10 for me, thanks to the high value retentions team. Mmmm.

I reckon I could try for one of the following budget wise....

HTC One V
Samsung Galaxy S II
Huawei Accend P1

Kinda feels like comparing a cannondale CAAD, Canyon, and a bang-for-buck planet-x on the road bike thread. What would you folks go for?

My instinct says go for the much loved Canyon (Galaxy S2), but the blingy spec of the planet-x (Huawei) keeps tempting me.

The HTC and Samsung both are great phone, but I reckon handling it in a shop and see which one take your fancy is worth doing.

Thats the issue.

When winter hits I'll be running/ riding in dodgy conditions. I always take my phone, as twisting an ankle, or having a bike failiure, miles from home, in -20C, wearing only lycra. Can be a bit dodge. Tend to put it in a zippy bag. But there's always a chance of a knock if when I fall.

Had considered the Xcover.

Siemens C35, my second ever mobile phone. Quite liked it at the time.

Transferred music to my phone. Files there, but not all show in the music player. All play fine in iTunes. Some purchased, some from CD. Can't see the pattern to what shows and what doesn't.
Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if the official Jellybean update will be coming to the "normal" HTC Sensation?
Tried to google but it's coming up with rooting shit.
