  • I do.

  • BTW, was in the Reej with Imo yesterday. Missed you.

See you next year, with tan lines, I hope.

  • It took me ages to convince the GF to go on to Handcent, will take another age to get her onto another sms app.

Aww, pull a funny face for her from me...

I have sunburnt feet, best I can do...

  • my sensation hasnt either

Your Sensation is already running it.

  • that would be why then

  • My mums is 60 and has no problems with her iPhone 4, as much as I love my android phone I reckon they are much easier to use.

If you remember Ed also bought an iPhone for his mum and then simply hid/removed all the unnecessary apps and icons. Simples! Same thing will apply to any smartphone with Android.

  • I fucking hate that image.

It's true thought, I'd says the Android would be a lots easier to arrange once you show them the basic and where to go, no need to go through the big list of application, just put the popular/necessary one on display.

  • Why not just buy a dumbphone?

Seriously.... fucking hiding all the apps so its just a phone? Thats like buying a car and taking it apart and putting all the bits in your driveway and walking everywhere because now your car is all in bits in your driveway when you should have just bought some of those MBT shoes that weird people walk around in.

  • A fucking GRAND they cost.... and people pay that because it does lots of stuff

  • Or because they just want to be like everyone else which is why I have one.

  • Thing is, it allowed them to get used to it one by one, once they mastered the basic, I just add one more application on display.

my mum now have 7 application on display (from 3) after getting used to it.

  • Do Angry Birds next.

  • Fruit Ninja

  • Fart sim

  • Makes fart noises, that last one... best 3 quid she'll ever spend.

  • Mersee bookoo

  • Just reached the "factory reset" step of installing ICS using ClockworkMod.

    Scary stuff.

  • ^ First step? Don't worry too much, and if it doesn't work straigt away DON'T FREAK OUT!
Just stay relaxed and check you did everything, and start again.

Just seen an Alpha ICS build for my Arc, so might try that tonight :)

  • Installed, factory reset, now installing Gapps.

Realised I don't have a second camera to share this achievement with the world.

  • Picplease is better.

  • "IMEI Unknown"

    Fucksticks.

  • I now have a Galaxy S with TeamHacksung's IceCreamSandwich Build 11, but no IMEI and failed restoring my /efs/ backup.

It's very very shiny though, lovely boot animation and a cool "CRT-off" effect when you lock the screen.
