  • Angry Birds - I can't get past 7-12. This game is insane. :)

I'm totally stuck on 3-5 of Angry Birds.

How am I meant to destroy that house with three of the crappy brown ones?

    Completed it.

Zed, I hate you. Hope you don't mind? ;)

Fox you should have got past there since then.

  • Reckless Racing. Its $2.99 in USA money. Now all I have to do is work out
what to delete from my Desire, to make room for this beauty.

YouTube - Deliverace (Now Reckless Racing) - First trailer!

YouTube - Deliverace (Now Reckless Racing) - Second trailer!

    I can't see who wouldn't love this.

  • gingerbread is coming soon, it seems.

YouTube - We've been baking something...

  • Looks awesome! Probably would run a bit shite on my Wilfire.

  • In mind of phones needing faster processors, to play the latest and best games, here's the latest phones that should do a good job.

    1Ghz
    Acer Stream
Dell Streak (being upgraded to 2.1, then 2.2)
    Google Nexus One
    HTC Desire
    HTC Desire HD
    Motorola Milestone 2
    Samsung Galaxy S
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (being upgraded to 2.1)

    800Mhz
    Acer Liquid
    Acer Liquid E
    HTC Desire Z
    Motorola Defy
    T-Mobile G2

And a couple of phones that intrigue me, are the very* I-Look-Just-Like-An-iPhone* Meizu M9, and the following Meizu M9-II.
I'm hoping they eventually appear in Europe, though they might stay in the Far East markets.

Oh, and I completed Angry Birds. I can now get back to my life. ;)

  • Angry Birds is not complete until you get 3 star finish on all levels.

  • Call me a cheat, but finishing all the levels is enough for me. Getting 3 stars for each one is far too obsessive for me I'm afraid.

I'll try for the 3 stars at various times, or maybe I'll have moved on to other stuff. More than likely.

    Probably not going to happen:

  • If they get pre-orders for the M9, it still might. But yes, the M8 was just asking for trouble.

  • I have a Desire HD sitting on my desk now..

  • Karma says that it shall fall into a cup of steaming coffee. That will merge the Coffee and Android threads.

  • Funny you should say that. I somehow managed to leave the GO button of my coffee machine on last night so when the timer kicked in this morning at 5.30am the machine promptly spilled its entired contents onto the floor and then tried to self-destruct due to the pump sucking nothing but
    air.

I then managed to drop my breakfast (tub of yoghurt from eat since I was in late) all over the fucking carpet.

So, I'm awaiting the 3rd 'drop' in this trio of events...

  • condor seatube cluster will probably give up the ghost on your homeward commute, dropping your ass all over the hipster highway :)

  • I've been riding the Kinesis, so nyer! :P

  • Wow. This Desire HD looks massive and is super fast.

  • Huawei are launching two new phones, the IDEOS X6 and the lesser specced IDEOS X5.

    IDEOS X6 - 4.1 inch screen, Froyo, 512MB, 2GB ROM, 1Ghz Snapdragon (later version)

Although most UK networks seem to have done deals with HTC, T-Mobile UK actually offer the T-Mobile PULSE, which is a Huawei phone. If anyone provides the new IDEOS X6 over here it might be them. Private companies like eXpansys, Clove and Play.com may also offer it. It looks good, but compared to whats coming soon, and if there is a promised upgrade path to Android 3.0, will be what will make it popular, or a failure. Oh yes, and its pricing. I like it though.

    EDIT:
Looks like I was correct. T-Mobile look like they've got the IDEOS X5 renamed as the T-Mobile Comet (this is for the USA, but could still come here also, as its a GSM phone). I still prefer the IDEOS X6 though. I have a feeling that Huawei may be cheaper than HTC. There was nothing wrong with their (T-Mobile) PULSE (in the UK), but it was just not very exciting. Did the job I suppose for a very cheap Android phone.

  • My phone is refusing to charge. So I have a dead phone.
I rooted it ages ago so I dont think I can take tto the vodafone shop. I think I need to buy a new charger first.

  • mine does that occasionally - pull the battery out for 30sec and then try it again - seems to work for mine (hd2)

  • Wow. This Desire HD looks massive and is super fast.

    Your bullets cannot harm me....

  • Mines a Xperia 10 but imm try that now

  • Your bullets cannot harm me....

There's two of them in the office now. The iDrones are getting tetchy.

  • I am tempted to sell my Desire to part fund the Desire HD - on contract though.....

  • yeah it didnt work

  • does the phone work when plugged in without the battery?
It may just be the battery thats dead (or the charger) rather than the phone...
