Smartphone 101 question here:
Is there any benefit to me and the missus both having android phones (prolly Desires) in terms of sharing apps, data and connectivity etc between them, rather than me having a free iphone from work and her having an android?
(Sorry - frankly no idea what you can / can't do with these things...)Latitude, that unlike the iShithouse, is actually useful.
Paid apps are linked to your google account. I've not tried using a paid-for app on two phones using the same account. I assume it's only linked to the account. Depends if you wanted to share a google account I guess. Apps are cheap anyway so I'd just buy two.
Obviously using the same phone means you can share chargers and SD cards and knowledge.

Links don't work :(
Besides there will be a HD 3D 4G rocket phone out by the time my contract runs out and I can upgrade.

The HD looks amazing. But yeah, I'll be fine with my Desire until the next generation probably.

I'm thinking "fuck it" it's a business expense and Mal can have the Desire and I finally ditch her i7500 (which is running Froyo/2.2 btw haha suckers).

And Nokia, I think, sucks ass nowadays.
Had to mention it so no-one would call me a fan boy.

hippy, is the Desire HD still running the standard Snapdragon chip? I'd be wanting something more powerful in graphics processing for my next upgrade. Give me good news. ;)

£480 from Modaco preorder. My colleague wants one. Looks like I might order a couple. Anyone else? :)

£480.........for the Desire HD. I don't believe that price. Too cheap.
No VAT added? And even then, way cheaper than I'd expect. Me = sceptical.EDIT:
Let me add, you could be right on the price. Especially if they didn't have to engineer a totally new phone, and used the pre-existing chassis from their HTC 4G phone. Still, its a lot of kit for a reasonable price. -

It also includes £50 worth of free stuff like car docks and Modaco membership."Could" be right on the price.
