My battery went to shit on update using the OG Pixel. Seems largely resolved by turning off the adaptive brightness (which I never had on before) but the screen itself also seems a fair bit darker, I now have to have the slider at roughly half to be as bright as it was at about a quarter previously.

Really like the new navigation and suggested apps. So far it's been pretty good at removing the need to fully open the app drawer. Seemed to latch onto my Spotify habits particularly quickly.

The keyboard on this galaxy a5 is useless. is there something I can do, otherwise it's going in the bin.

Anyone experiencing major issues with Play Store?

Keep getting download pending on updates/new app install, and no amount of clearing cache, app seetings and restarting are providing a permanent solution.

I've had that pending bollocks for a while, just ignore it, downloads happen eventually... Pain in the arse tho'...

Different keyboard, I like SwiftKey but the Google one is better than Samsungs too.

Yep, worked out it was only happening on wifi, switched to 4g and all worked fine

Anybody want a well used but fully functional Oneplus 5 128GB? (not 5T)

Have had it for about a year. It has been dropped and thrown around a fair bit leading to some missing paint on corners and a few tiny dents on the back. Screen has small cosmetic chip at the top bezel (roughly 5mm x 1.5mm, smooth to the touch) from a drop and one or two hairline scratches that you can't see in use. I'm making a big deal of the imperfections but trying to give a fair idea of its condition.

Other than cosmetic wear, phone is fully functional and lightning quick to use. It feels pleasantly slim compared to my Galaxy S9+!

Will include UK and EU dash chargers and possibly the US one although I don't know where that is at the moment.

Looking for £150, happy to post. Also happy to accept a return if buyer pays postage if you change your mind in the first week that you have it. PM if interested, first come first served.

The sim has recently been changed to a data only one.

It's normally the provider trying to update the phone settings for things like internet / mobile etc..

Gesture nav is ace. Notifications are better. Settings search is good.

If it's apple then don't bother, but if it's pecan then maybe you should consider it...

"Beaming Service" (withn Android OS) has cleared me out of data allowance in a day after I updated android yesterday. I've been racing so phone waa idle all day except for Strava.

I've 'force stopped' it but there's no way to uninstall. Is there a workaround?

P.s. i can't figure out why it even uses data allowance, unless something has gone awry?

^ Galaxy A5. 'Android Beam' under the NFC menu was set to on even tho NFC was off. May have been this?

EE have given me 1gb data despite it not being their doing. I'll be keeping eye on it for now.

Android beam is for tapping phones together and transferring stuff, shouldnt be using data...
Was there anything next to it in your jersey?
