Would anyone be interested in buying my Galaxy Note #1, and if so, for how much?
It's in perfect condition, with the integral case.

Do you want a fair price or lfgss bargain price for it? I would be tempted at £200, you would almost certainly get more on fleabay though.

Just ordered all the bits to do the galaxy nexus induction charging mod, managed to get it down to £28 with two touchstone chargers. Looking forward to putting it all together.
The next question is can I get an nfc tag to work when the phone is placed on the charger so I can get it to recognise the two separate locations and do different things.

So, around £275 would be fair? Too low/high?
A cursory glance at eBay completed listings did not reveal a great number of results.

Ooh, good stuff. I have got my replacement usb board but won't be able to have a bash at it til one evening next week. Don't suppose you fancy a little phone hack session? If so, where abouts are you based?

I'm out west in Uxbridge, might be a while before the new rear case turns up though, had to order it from Korea.

How patchy is the 3g on giffgaff? I'm starting to worry that me cracking the back screen has damaged the aerial as now it struggles to pick up a signal strong enough for the map services to work - everyone knows how vital this is too me:-(

Curiosity question. Faces on the contact list. Are those from G+? How do I check my image?
-
• #10437
They can be from various things, although I think it defaults to G+, sign into G+ to check it's photo.

Didn't i get you to download an app which takes photos from facebook to use as your contact photos, so probably that.
Your image will be whatever it is in there phone that they have chosen.

Someone was asking on here recently about transferring files to the nexus 7. turns out that it is a right royal pita since the 4.2 update. I am having to use SMB or airdroid, which is pretty slow. I want USB 2 speeds. Grrrr.

Just taken me about 2 hours to transfer a 1.8Gb file. I can root the thing and then use a USB stick with a micro usb adapter, but that seems like a faff too.
Anyone got a better idea?

Windows 7. Seriously. Makes life really easy.
-
• #10444
Why is it so slow? And what's wrong with mounting it as a drive and just copying it across?

Good luck! I'll make sure to post photos when all the bits turn up.

musSame for me.
However using Samsung Kies is faster and more reliable than OTA updates.
Downloading the new firmfare at the moment.

OTA must be fucked.

All updated..like magic!!

Screen & digitizer tend to be glued onto the inside of the case, hence swapping the main board into a new shell rather than swapping the screen.
