[B]3.3 How do I pay customs charges?[/B]

Royal Mail provides several options for payment and they will inform you of the options available and the amounts payable when they contact you. A postcard or letter is usually delivered to your address, detailing the amount due and the options available for payment. Once payment has been made, the package may be collected from the post office or if you have paid online/by phone you can arrange for it to be delivered. Details of the charges, including the Royal Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide handling fee, will be shown separately on a label affixed to the package.
If the value of the package is over £2,000 or it is for a particular customs regime you will be sent a customs declaration form (C88 or C160) which you must complete and return to Customs at the Postal Depot before your package can be delivered. You should not send any payment with this form unless asked to do so.

Ideally should be non sticky and handle a bit of sweating. its just that I don't want anything over greasy/sticky on my face during longer rides.

I once put this super expensive face moisturiser on just before I went on a ride, it was quite gloopy but smelt amazing so I applied liberally > 10 minutes later > whole face covered in slime

Lesson learnt: don't bother with expensive cosmetics, they're not designed for real people

Any sun tan lotion is horrible once you sweat. Might give P20 a go unless somebody can give me a better suggestion. Its expensive but at least its properly sweat proof and absorbed into the skin fully. I think its unlikely to go slimey. Its the only stuff that has worked for me when running in hot climates.

I didn't ride much last summer due to injury and can't remember having a problem before...no idea why I'm getting tan lines now!

could go for the jayawardene style zinc paint. it probably is v greasy but it'll last and block the sun

The ambre solaire 'clear protect' stuff seems to be based on alcohol gel rather than a greasy milky emulsion. I don't know about how long it would last against heavy sweating, but it certainly isn't as greasy or sticky as most suncream.

Cheers moth...and its a lot cheaper than P20. Might give it a go on this weekends ride.

I use any old sun tan lotion to avoid mask lines when skiing...but then again you don't have sweat accumalating on your face as much in dry mountain air due to evaporation.

To be fair, lotion or no lotion my skin is pretty minging by the time I've been riding for 6hrs+ regardless...might just be a case of finding the best waterproof one and manning up.

Edit: however I do have an infinite amount of work to finish by May 15th, so I'm going to be working the whole time. I'm working right now. Hmm.
