sorry i mean i have a 52t Campy SR ring on my bike and i was going to buy a 53t because it's pantographed. I wondered if it would work with modification or just not fit on the crank.

As Sumo says as long as the BCD is the same then you should be good to go.

Might need to adjust front mech, and check chain length, but just going up one tooth I cannot really see those being affected.
