13th of May to the 27th - where would you go in order to enjoy (in no particular order):
- Warm weather
- Good food
- Interesting cultural/architectural stuff to walk around and photograph
- Countryside to cycle in (bonus points for mountains)
- Extra bonus points if I can use my Avios points to pay for some of this (I have 100k points)
- Warm weather

Girona. Never been there myself, but it's on the list. More of an emphasis on the cycling side than the other stuff, but I think it'd tick all the boxes.
Where I'm actually going for the second of those weeks is Cesenatico for a couple of days and then the Dolomites for the rest of the week.

Girona is great, I recommend it base on riding there, in fact Catalonia is one great country to ride in.

Catalonia is one great country
The independence movement has obviously progressed considerable since I last looked :)

76,000 Avios= two business class returns to Barcelona and a Fiat 500 for a couple of weeks.
Now I need to book somewhere to stay, I'm thinking a few days in Barcelona, then Girona, hire some bikes, Rocacorba springs to mind. Places to eat/things to see/places to ride recommendations gladly received?

Great place to go riding - we go there every year for the first week of November - but there's not a whole lot else to do except beaches, and I think you'd run out of things to do over a two week period. Much as I love Sa Calobra, I wouldn't want to do it more than twice a week...

Yeah, fair enough. Would love to ride there. But of the suggestions my vote would go to Girona too - so much within easyish reach.

How does one find a decent dentist?
I have a dead and discoloured front tooth. It has been dead for a long time and whilst it doesn't cause me any problems at all it is less pretty than the rest of me.
My own dentist sort of suggested something but somehow I lacked confidence that they were presenting me with all the options, just what their particular surgery was able to do, which is kind of fair enough, but I would like to know what the advantages/disadvantages of various approaches are. Money is sort of no object here, I'd rather find the money and have something I am very happy with rather than make compromises.

There was a whole dentist thread on here. might be worth a browse, not sure how out of date it is

Remove old glue first or just put new stuff on top?

Would someone be able to reccomend me a place to buy paint (or a particular brand) and associated thinner that would work well and be durable on a steel bike frame? I'd like to paint a frame by hand, it look reasonably ok and not make a big mess (so no rattle cans!). Thanks
