anyone know the seatclamp size on a 2008 fuji track?
-
• #68779
I don't think 34-32 is particularly low for a loaded touring bike in hilly terrain.
-
• #68780
If it's steel it'll be 27.2mm
-
• #68781
Clamp size rather than seatpost size...
-
• #68782
31.6 my guess
-
• #68783
For 27.2mm posts my assumption would be 31.6 for aluminium frames, 29.8 for steel frames.

Aluminium, innit. Real tourers can't be aluminium because a man in a shed in the developing world can't repair aluminum using only developing world things.

On one mungo bars, what styles/positions of brake levers work?
I'm thinking gold fingers in the middle near the stem?

Don't Citi have their own showers?
Underground beik parkingat CW tends to have a multi-year waiting list.

The Whyte and Fuji being considered were also alu...
Also lolz at the thought of Mrak touring anywhere more than 10 miles from somewhere that serves beer.

Oh.
But I think even developing world haz Estrella by now.

inline seatposts - single bolt clamp
Good luck with that, where do suggest they put the single bolt on an inline post? I think there are some cross bolt types, but really the Thomson style 2-bolt is the way to go.

Not a very good design at that, only work with certain (common) saddle.
edit - just realised it's basically a shim to push the clamp upward, definitely a lots better than the other.

Anyone converted a dt 240 disc hub 135mm to 130mm with campy free hub?
Thinking of building a set of wheels for both disc 135 and rim 130mm rears. Other suggestions are welcome.

Pot; kettle, mother fucker!
Tour soon?
-
• #68795
why?
-
• #68796
I mistook the design, I thought it was side loaded like this;
-
• #68797
Why are side loaded not good? I wouldn't be using oval saddle rails BTW.

"Aero" road levers, on the curve, but nearer the end than you'd have them if they were drops.
