A friend is looking for an artisan with proper old school zip repair skills. Not a simple job - a two-metre long zip in a vintage leather guitar bag. Anybody have a hook up?

Hmm.. Interesting... There's only one Tour de Fer left. This has a bit better kit. I like the idea of a triple for proper climbing though. Argh. Why so hard.
-
• #68759
Lowest gear is 34-32! What kind of walls are you climbing?
-
• #68760
Do you mean 22-32?
-
• #68761
The kits are great value, especially the brakeset.
-
• #68762
Probably.......
-
• #68763
Actually no, 50/34 and 11 speed 11-32
-
• #68764
We are talking about the Tour de Fer, right?

I did the alps with four panniers on a compact double. I don't know what the ratios were but I would have preferred another ring. Others with less gear and better fitness were able to drop lower on their triples and it made me jealous.

It's not exactly pretty and I don't have much love for planet x, but:

Found it using google:
google: movie sniper "golf course"
led to loads of references to American Sniper so I got rid of them:-
google: movie sniper "golf course" -"american sniper"
and the top link sounded like it fit the bill.

I was trying to find one the other day but can't see any others apart from H2. All the articles about them said they had plans to open more similar centres and smaller hubs but no idea when though. Might be worth looking for one of the budget gyms. Some of them also hire out permanent lockers but that would be on top of the £20 a month or so and doesn't include parking.

Carbon inline seatposts - single bolt clamp, 27.2mm
Any recommendations?
-
• #68773
Oooh! I kinda like the yellow one...
-
• #68774
H2 is great, however they are quite clearly not spending what they should on maintenance - the showers are now getting a bit haggard, some of them don't work any more.
= I don't think they are making the money they intended, which may have slowed down their rollout plans.

Syntace P6.
Is that the one with the Jamaican curling team?
