^^ that looks nice.
the Bike Hut saddle bags are fine and have a clip, no velcro, they squash down if you have less stuff, but somehow I can't see you (DJ) putting one of them on your bike... -

My tenancy ended to my last rental on the last day of June, I emailed on July 2nd giving my landlord the information he wanted (gas elec readings etc etc) and since then I have heard not a peep from him, I believe they're supposed to return deposit or get in contact about any charges within 10 working days, its obviously been much longer already
I emailed again last week asking for an update and didn't get a reply
Whats the next step? its in a protection scheme but I dont have the our ID and as he wont return my emails I cant get it either

how come you don't have the ID for your deposit?

• #62181
was never given to me

hmmm. so do you actually have any proof that the deposit you gave to your landlord is actually in a deposit protection scheme? an email should have been sent to you (or maybe a letter, I guess it might depend on which thing they use) right at the beginning as confirmation and containing ID and details.
it might be possible to contact the schemes and ask them to search by address? they are listed here: https://www.gov.uk/deposit-protection-schemes-and-landlords/overview
but it's pretty clear they should have given you details of where your deposit is being held: https://www.gov.uk/deposit-protection-schemes-and-landlords/information-you-must-give-to-your-tenants -

Check with the various deposit schemes, to see if you have a protected deposit.
If not, take it to court. Look here for help on how to do this (pretty easily).
If yes, then read up on the schemes dispute process, and get it started a.s.a.p.

Were you renting direct from the landlord, or through a letting agency?
-
• #62185
on the other hand rogan - you might get 3x deposit back!
eventually.

The landlord is always responsible for protecting the deposit, never the agency.
(Although the agency might know something about it.)

I use a Big top tool roll which has a webbing strap and a buckle, so dead secure. http://www.bigxtop.com/product/saddle-roll
+1Compact, secure and tool rolls are old skool and therefore kool.
As a bonus you get good karma for putting business, a forumenger's way.

This is looking like a contender
Get the Topeak one with the QR saddle connection. Like this

I have one that I used on two DDs. Never shifted. Ever.

through an agency but they dont want to hear from me now as the deposits the landlords problem, however they confirmed the house was 100% ok and they werent going to be asking for any deductions themselves.
I cant actually find myself on any of the scheme sites, i was however with the same landlord 2 years prior to this one and it was in a scheme then.
I also do vaguely remember getting a letter from one of them with the scheme ID but i definitely dont have that anymore

where can I find details of the wednesday night crits at lee valley velo park?
-
• #62191
^^ have you tried calling them and searching by address?
did you pay a new deposit or did the landlord hold the one from previous house, in which case search by that address too. -

I had the mobile number of the landlord from the first time i was with him but it doesn't seem to work anymore, and no i got returned that deposit lived elsewhere for a year then returned to him
thinking a more 'official' or serious email might be the only way forward until i can get a phone number, the letting agents set that they had been emailed by him but they gave me the same mobile number i already had that didnt work

I'm looking for some very tight 1" flat crown track forks, what are my options?
Custom from an affordable builder will probably be your best bet unless you can find something second hand.

similar issue resulting from the hottest day of last year. based upon that, expect a couple days in bed. htfu and rest. get well soon! x
Pre-amble: I will seek medical attention if needed.
I did a very tough running workout (only about 1hr long though) at the peak of the heat yesterday, got home, sat in front of a fan for half an hour and sipped 1.5 litres of electrolyte drink. I felt feverish and achey all over afterwards and took further steps to cool down and ensure that I am hydrated.
I still have a fever today despite total rest. I have a headache and general fever aches and pains still. I feel like I have the flu but with no other symptoms. Has this happened to any of you ladies and gents before? Heat exhaustion?

Is it possible to find a bright orange Klein Quantum in 54cm, perfect condition for about £200?
gotta be hopeful...
It depends.
What year? The later models with Caribbean Gold paint are less sought after than the earlier proper Kleins.
Which model (pro, 2 or race,) A pro is worth more than a 2, which is worth more than a race.
Then is is the earlier plain Quantum, with external cable routing, They were available with the Moonrise paint job, possibly one of the best paint jobs on any bike any where ever, which also can be found on the Quantum 2.
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13784
I have seen a Quantum 2 with Golden Koi paintwork which was not listed in the catalogue, it was a special from the factory.
It was normally found only on the Adroit
There is also the Quantum team (Or Q Carbon team) which had an orange paint job, but it is a faux klein, built entirely by Trek.
I assume you want a frame only and not a full DA equipped bike?
But the best answer I can give is no.
Not £200.
You want some Crane from Aldi.
