If I wanted a little flag to stick onto my cycling kit, permanently, how would I best go about this?

?
thanks

are these authentic or fakes?
Given their location - Taiwan - as well as the price, I think it's safe to say fake.

Also, the pink anodising colour is too light. And the top cap doesn't have the "Pretty and strong" text that the pukka pink CK ones have. So, yeah.

can someone suggest a decent seatpack that will take an inner tube or two, a multi tool (idealy topeak hexus) and some pre glued patches? i am no longer willing to risk velcro as the attachment system
I use Scicon aero saddle bags on some of my bikes and something like this should take that lot. They use a twist-release QR thingy and I've never had any problems with mine.

what's the difference between metaphor and analogy?
is it that metaphor is more evocative of an idea (shooting fish in a barrel) but analogy should be actually useful in explaining something... can't think of any examples right now... -
• #62210
I think thats it - so an analogy would be used to describe a specific thing with respect to another thing.
a comparison between one thing and another, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.
(do you even google?)

I tried the dictionary but they were almost the same...

An analogy is comparable to metaphor and simile in that it shows how two different things are similar, but it’s a bit more complex. Rather than a figure of speech, an analogy is more of a logical argument. The presenter of an analogy will often demonstrate how two things are alike by pointing out shared characteristics, with the goal of showing that if two things are similar in some ways, they are similar in other ways as well.

Anyone know what all the cops/ambos were doing at Worship St/City Road this morning?
Something was going down on Tabernacle Street.
-
• #62216
Bomb scare according to twitter. Should've looked first but City Road and Worship Street came up empty.

Any recommend me a decent quality and fairly priced multitool with a chain splitter.
-
• #62218
Topeak stuff is generally good.

Lezyne V10

think I had this topeak one, the chain splitter is the bit of it that got the most use. bit heavy but compact and pretty good. lost to the mysterious place that small things get lost to...

^ that Topeak is the only one that has a 10mm allen. Most of the other top out at 8mm.
We have a winner.
-
• #62222
Topeak Mini 20 Pro, less than £25.
The tyre lever is the only weakness: bit short for tight tyres.
-
• #62223
^^ Srs question - what on your bike uses a 10mm? Only thing with 8 I can think of is square taper crank bolts
-
• #62224
^^ yeah the tyre lever never got used, I didn't really see how it was workable but I also never tried.

Woah, thanks for the info - Hmm this may have to stay as wishful thinking!
Pretty sure I saw one a few days ago in the Koi paint - all black components. It looked ace.
