have a look at the POC jerseys
http://www.pocsports.com/en/product/1903/essential-jersey
if i did not have more than enough rapha kit, or needed some new clothing they would be on the top of my hit list, Sigma have them in stock
Funny you mention rapha. I've tried on at least a dozen different jerseys with no success. Swung by condor earlier and tried a rapha pro team and it fits like a glove. Oh too much $$ though. Will check out poc. Cheers

saddlebags
the rapha seat pack jettisons its contents all over the road
i had a lezyne micro caddy but it came undone and fell off the bike last week never to be seen again
previously I had the lezyne M caddy, but the velcro stopped gripping, so it kept coming loose
andyp gave me a fizik bag that clipped to the saddle but the zip was shit and it would just split open
can someone suggest a decent seatpack that will take an inner tube or two, a multi tool (idealy topeak hexus) and some pre glued patches? i am no longer willing to risk velcro as the attachment system

Smallest Carradice.

Zipped Roll, specifically.

• #62157
far too big and bulky

Smaller even are the Brooks Challenge tool bags, two sizes.
Neither these nor the Carradice bags will fall off. -

Cheap and cheerful Decathalon one has done me fine for 4 years.

It's velcro, but it'll stay in place (in my experience).

They look nice but my last saddle bag loss cost me a multi tool, patches, inner tube, small ratchet spanner and 2 atomic 22 security keys. I am not willing to trust Velcro again.

Why don't you just keep consumables in the saddle pack, and keep anything valuable in a pocket?
-
• #62165
The tools are dense so pull the jersey pocket out of shape.
Am assuming by consumables you mean tubes and patches, as I'd like to have my food in a jersey pocket.

Up to you, I am 100% confident that mine is going to be there at the end of a ride.
-

I thought my lezyne was going to be there, but it wasn't. And the previous lezyne Velcro one had a habit of shaking itself loose.

I'm looking for some very tight 1" flat crown track forks, what are my options?

It fixes to the seatpost with evil velcro
-
• #62171
Tighten it to the saddle rails with a toe strap if you're worried about it coming loose.
-
• #62172
^^But that is for stability, not carrying the load.
Though Velcro is evil when it abrades against Lycra.

This is looking like a contender
That's exactly the one I was going to suggest, I have one myself. The velcro on the seat tube connector isn't a problem.
The tools are dense so pull the jersey pocket out of shape.
Tools in a jersey pocket are a bad idea. Anything lumpy and hard is going to cause a lot of damage in a spill if you land/roll on it. A phone, wallet, inner-tube or banana may just be uncomfortable, but carrying a multi-tool near kidneys or spine is just asking for trouble.

Now scratched from the list, too many accounts of them falling apart on CRC reviews.

I use a Big top tool roll which has a webbing strap and a buckle, so dead secure. http://www.bigxtop.com/product/saddle-roll
Some manufacturers of aluminium frames used a post that went through the downtube at that spot and the shifters threaded onto it. Have a look here for an example of one system .. http://www.cycle-frames.com/bicycle-frame-tubing/NOVA-LEVER-BOSS-KIT-FOR-AL-FRAME.html .. so may be worth investigating first if yours is similar and has come loose ?
