Any one knows where I can find cones for cartridge bearing wheels (or the full axle kit, road or track)? (like old hed3 or disc wheels)
I tried contacting hed.uk but they don't have them and their communication is one of the worst I've ever seen.

Which retailer do people recommend for buying large appliances (washing machine, fridge freezer etc).
Preferably one that will deliver.
+1 for ao.com they did a good job with our oven. They almost fell over on a problem with the electrics but I sorted it. PM me if you're getting an oven installed and I can give you more details.

John Lewis. They price match, will deliver free and give you a free extended warranty. Or at least they did 15 years ago when I bought my flat.

The John Lewis website was knackered when I looked. Will bear it in mind though.

as.com is great, the delivery guys are very nice and helpful.
I have decided to ban JL in the foreseeable future, they refused to price match despite matching all the t and c, and gave me a right telling off last time when I retuned a tablet the very next day coz mama didn't like it... I have had better service from Argos.

Cheers, I'll check it out.

Wanting a +-17 deg 3T stem in plain black (stealth) but can't seem to find anything (can only find it in +- 6 deg). They (the ARX or ARX II) only seem to have red or white stripes on them. Not interested in using acetone etc to remove said stripe etc.
Have I misread the internet and do they actually exist?
This is what I'm after but in +- 17deg:

Looking at doing a 7-9 day cycle holiday around September. Basically the idea is to achieve as much epic climbing as possible without breaking the bank.
There are cheap flights to Geneva around then. So that could be an idea.
Any suggestions thankfully recieved.

Have you been to dolomites yet? You can get a return ticket to Treviso (Venice-Treviso) from £60 (exl. Bike, an extra £100).

Staying in one place or moving on each day? If you do fly to Geneva then get out of Switzerland as fast as you can, as the cost of living will break the bank.
Annecy is a short distance from Geneva and offers access to some pretty amazing mountains. Aix-les-Bains/Chambery is a bit further on but from there you can access the Chartreuse massif, which has some fantastic cols in it, although none of them are higher than 1500 metres.
Further south again, Grenoble is a good option as you can ride in the Chartreuse, the Vercors to the west or the Alps proper to the south and east.

Plus what breso says above. If you can get to the Dolomites then you'll have more epic climbing on hand than you can shake a stick at. The Sella Ronde is a must do, plus there are many more amazing passes in the area like the Giau, the Fedaia, Tre Croce, Tre Cime di Lavaredo etc.
The weather should still be good in early September too, although it might start to get a bit chilly at night.

Dumb question, need to convert from drop bars to moustache or similar to give more upright position. Bought a yepp mini stem mounted kids seat and with a Surly LHT the head tube angle is so slack it puts the seat right in my lap, and I'm riding a 64 cm frame. Currently using shimano sora index shifters, xtr long cage RD, generic shimano FD.
What sort of trigger, thumb or other shifts will work with swept back, moustache or any other type of bar that's going to give me a bit more room and work with current set up? Also need a set back post anyway so that'll help a bit.Any help muchos appreciated.

Bar end shifters may be the answer.
