Bearing "5P7272ZRS Mavic" That's the text written on the plastic cover - google doesn't give me much. Any suggestions from the bearingwizards?

Looks like a propper job to me, VeLLo. I'd ride that I think. Assuming that threaded bit is steel?
-

I hope not!
Anyone?!
This is ingenuity (or could it be engineeooity?) at its best. help a man outNo idea. I have spare stems knocking around you can have if they suit. What do you need?
Thanks guys.
The other stem (undamaged) I have is just a bit too long, but will do if herbal consensus thinks it's unsafe... -

I think 5p is ABEC 5 rating
7272 is the bearing type - but they are enormous - sure its not 6272?
ZRS is one metal, one rubber seal?

When do the end of season sales on road bikes tend to start? Any tips for bagging a bargain? Cheers

I used to work for a company that sold hydraulic Flange Spreaders. I swear I was the only one in the place who found it just a little bit funny.

It's the bearings inside this screw-on hub, which might explain the larger diameter? (saws come in peace, all good)

best to get it out and measure it if you can?
7272 bearings seems to be 650mm O.D!!!!!

Original post, photos should appear.
http://www.lfgss.com/post4298529-61400.htmlThe flange sits on the actual fascia of stem / hole diameter is smaller than flange diameter.
Here's the threaded rivets I bought. I though that even if it did not work to save that stem it was something useful to have in my tool box... (mudguard fixing, etc...)

Apart from star bike and bike discount which other german (european) retailers should I look for? I am looking to buy tyres (Ultremo DD 25c to be precise).

Facebook keeps on annoying me. I don't use it a lot anyway.
However, quite a few people want me to use it when I'm out of the UK to keep up to date with me.
I'd like to set up some sort of closed blog. Basically a site where I can choose who I invite, write brief posts about what I'm doing and upload photos.
I'm not going to be having any uber secret on there so I'm not massively worried about security etc. I just don't want to have to use Facebook.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Cheers

I just reserved a rear mech for collection at halfords and crazy typo so the name came out as Dr Smogalogalopalus. Do you think they will be assy about collecting without id?
-
• #61271
I reckon if you can spell it, they should let you have it!
-
• #61272
If you've paid for it then the credit card you used should be fine.
If it's just reserved I can't believe anyone at Halford would care.

Simple to use, easy to set up.
Can be made private so you can invite people.
Can be re-skinned easily.
Linked to your gmail.
They can interact in the comments areas...Isn't as good as Facebook in terms of features.

Which retailer do people recommend for buying large appliances (washing machine, fridge freezer etc).
Preferably one that will deliver.
No idea. I have spare stems knocking around you can have if they suit. What do you need?
