No, I think that's right. I have at least 10mm of spacers under my stem, so should look perfect.
Thanks Tester.

Can we talk about two bolt seat posts?
Or any other type of saddle clamp construction that allows for fine tuning of seat angle etc?Looking for recommendations.

Y no thread called choppers vs nodders?

I find that anything with two bolts (3T Dorico, Doric, for example) can be levelled precisely to where you want it.
The carbon ones are very easy to crush, however.
My question- and probably one for AndyP: I need to do a race-test this weekend, I'll be down in Winchester so no turbo, so where can I go to try to hold 300 watts for an hour and a half?
I'm guessing the answer to this is: nowhere.

3T Palladio is for ultimate fine tuning without any chance of it slipping. My Enve one hasn't slipped once either.

Up and down the Hogs Back. We did it on the tandem, in the rain, and didn't die.

What would be ideal would be a velodrome, I wonder if I can ask the city council to build one by Sunday.

Colleague has bought a Specialized Allez (unknown year) that has had its headset replaced with an Onza Mongo III headset. This headset is goosed. Anyone know what size the Mongo III is so I can advise on the correct one to buy to replace it.

probably a ritchey logic or comp would fit as they're conventional 1 1/8" with appx 31mm stack height.
or buy another mongo 3 off teh bay

Anyone know a good builder?
I've got some possibly serious damp issues and need someone to check it out then repair brickwork/guttering/plaster if not more.

I'm building up a new frame and using a Campagnolo 1" Threaded HS-7-RE Headset.
You can see an exploded diagram here (click on the image for a larger view)
http://en.hollandbikeshop.com/campagnol ... ch-thread/
The problem I have is with the two HS-RE006 "seals". They are shown as going between the fork crown race and lower bearing and just under the top cap. However, the diameter of the seals (both are identical) is so small that on the lower (crown) race, the bearings ride on the seal and not the race.
No doubt with some use the seal will expand but is just doesn't look or feel correct, and obviously it will be hard to adjust. I looked at another bike with the same headset and there were no separate seals - it appeared the crown race and the top bearing retainer (HS-AT103) themselves have thinner integral seals.
Anyone run into this issue or have any info on these seals? This was a new, boxed headset. Instructions are no help. Thanks

Your pedals will probably wear out before your shoes do :-)

hire a pedalo?
It's only 16mm, unless you're already running a slammed -17° stem you should be able to sort it out with a stem swap.
