Tufo sewn-up clinchers don't stress the rim in the same way as real clinchers, so feel free to run them at stupidly high pressures if you prefer discomfort and poor handling.
With proper tyres, I'd probably not exceed 8 bar with 20mm tyres and correspondingly lower with bigger tyres on vintage rims, they used to build the sidewalls a bit lighter in those days.
Cheers Tester.

Have Q rings/non circular chainrings been debunked? The below study supporting their positive impact is from the Rotor website. Are there equivalent studies our there drawing different conclusions?

I just skimmed the first few pages of the paper but it mentions that there have been several other studies with different findings...

Who stocks Giro Factors in or around London?
I'm looking to muck about with half sizes too, annoyingly, so if anyone knows who might have them I would be appreciative.

Would the SRAM Quickview adapter that enables older Garmins to use the twist-mount mechanism work on other mounts, like the Bar Fly 2.0?

Riding with three double bolts (loose) and two single bolts (tight) on one chainring.
I need to ride 14 miles, how much peril will I be in? -
• #60086
do you have brakes or are you relying on those bolts?

Yep, both, it's a 1 x 9.

• #60089
You'll be fine but you won't want to do it for that long. I've managed two months when I couldn't afford single bolts

Has anyone ever had interference with their cycle computer from traffic lights or crossings?
Mine blacks out every time I go over the pelican at the junction of aldenham road and chalk hill. Not really a problem, just wondering.

I only have the SRAM mount but I'd be very surprised if the adapter didn't work on others as it's basically a piece of plastic that mimics the underside of a Garmin.

I agree with this ^. I have a Bar fly if you want to try.
-
• #60093
The only problem might be clearance between the bigger head units and the bars, but you'd have to be very tight for space already, my 305 on an adapter only extends backwards a couple of millimetres more than my 500

What's the disc 29er equivalent of the WH-R500 in terms of price and durability?

Postage on the adapter is much as the adapter itself from wiggle. I might just go all in and then pass on the barfly when it all goes wrong. Ta though.

Just had a quick check and the adapter works with the standard Garmin mount so it's not a particular SRAM fit.

Are they approved?
Only in the generic "Shimano are approved" sense.

Try a google search for wiziwig; I forget the exact URL right now. Once you've found it you've got to go through the convoluted menu system until you find what you want, but it eventually breaks down into a number of streams for the programme/event that you've chosen. Once you're there, the little logos down the left hand side are the channels that the streams will 'usually' be playing, so choose the one showing BT sport with the highest bitrate, and enjoy. There are a couple of third party applications you might need to download like AceStream of SopCast to access the 'better' streams that aren't just Flash, but they're both perfectly safe as long as you don't fall for any of the fake 'download' buttons or run the .exe files that might pop up along the way. Hope that helps. Happy stealing :)
