Are there any good places in London (pref. either west, City, Shoreditch) for 90s/00s rock cover bands?
Not much Help, but Big red have a Kiss tribute show on tonight.
I want to go.

No, my gf likes a bit of popular rock music and since Walkabout and Redback closed there's no cover bands playing out west (that I know of).

I'm thinking more along the lines of G&R, Nirvana, Offspring, Pearl Jam um yeah I dunno. I've never heard her listen to Kiss though.

Where does one go for a sticky floored Sunday session in West London now then?

Can any legal folks help me out:
My significant other is seeking the return of a personal item from an ex of hers. The item holds no monetary value and is purely sentimental. Is there any way the item could be forcibly returned?
cheers.

anything can be forcibly returned if you have a big enough army

Does anyone know where I can buy some small screws to secure the steel dropouts in my Leader 725?
They look like this:

Don't fancy the $50 postage... -

BLB? I bought mine from there. I'd hazard a guess they might have spares. Or just wait until Tester comes online, tells you what screws they are and where to order them for ten pence each.

Look like these, (M4 X 8) but measure yours first

Am I going to be OK running a pretty stiff OS bar and stem (EA90) with a flexy 1" carbon steerer? It looks and feels like it might be a bit sketchy compared to the suitably noodly 26mm setup I was previously running.

I was told about a bike fitting place in Crystal Palace that also has (or is part of) a physio practice, which would be really useful for me crappy knees. Does anyone know who this or, better still, has anyone been there? There appear to be several fitters in and around Crystal Palace.

I don't know. I'm a techno head. That was never my thing but I'm trying to find out for her. There must be some cover bands still operating in London? It can't all be jazz and electro and gastro pubs can it?

If you have passport, there's always The Venue in New Cross...

Border control will still pull him to one side. We don't want hippy down in this neck of the woods thank you very much.

"Oh i guess that's a good place. this is a cattle market, where teenyboppers go to try and pull other teenyboppers to add to the currently high teen preg rate.. he he."
"Dank pit of all things untoward"
"What a dump!"
Sounds fun but I'm not sure the gf will agree :)

It could be them, but it might also be Elite Cycling. I was wondering whether anyone had personal experience of one.

Is there a thread that covers moving from normal footwear to cleats (preferably MTB style)?

On a serious note - buy them. Fall over a few times. Get confident. Never fall over again (this does not include when drunk, then all bets are off)

It's not for me. I've directed someone here to look out for answers...
Cheers
