although if you're using cantilevers rather than centre pulls, a crown mounted stop is better, both for the improved cable line and for taking the steerer out of the load path, which reduces chatter

Yup, there's also a couple of framers on here (otto for example) they may also do Mirrors and have off cuts, and there's a bunch of glazers in London (I have used one near plough lane in Wimbledon if that's any good for you? Hadons road to be exact, and a friend who was a framer has used them for a while)
