Time in general, or particular models? Been using RXS for a while and was thinking about something more recent.

And the new mavic pedals with time system, and crank bros.
Although I like the time MTB pedals.

general consensus seems to be RXS are good but more recent iclic and xpresso are shite. serious design flaws. and the new mavic pedals are just time rebranded. atacs rule though.

I use Insure'n'Go for travel insurance - about 50 quid a year for their Gold multi-trip option. They coughed up reasonably quickly when I tried shoulder-charging a Swiss Alp on my mountain bike a few years back. The Alp won.

Or if you need it right now any arts suppliers should have varying size bottles.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else got any positive experiences?
I'm just worried the £30 lot will be a real ballache if I need to claim so positive experiences with claiming would be great.

Why do people talk about the need for strong spokes and/or non-radial lacing on the drive side of wheels, rather than just on whichever side takes your fancy ?
Do hub bodies really shift or twist enough that it makes a difference which end of the hub gets the torque ?

^Isn't it to do with the dish? Ie. there is less 'angle' to brace it so the whole thing needs to be stronger another way.

Some factory built wheels are radial drive side and crossed non-drive side. I think dished wheels tend to cause stress on the drive side spokes more which might effect the decision to cross that side.

+1 on Insure And Go - been with them for ~8 years now and get snow sports cover.
Once missed a flight out of Lon pre-Xmas, like 23rd or 24th-something to Jerusalem due to the snow messing with trains. A true holiday season hell scene from the movies, it was utter chaos.
They coughed up the money for my replacement flight which I had to buy at the airport with another airline, cha-ching.
I think I also claimed the train fine I incurred jumping from Oyster-Blackfriars to National Rail-Blackfriars in the panic, to try get to Luton.Anyways, made it to Bethlehem for Christmas day. That was cool.

That makes sense I think. Or possibly the drive side spokes have less angle so those are the ones that are fully tensioned, so that's where you want to add the strength.

Excellent.
Thank you, I'll book with them then, 2 positive reviews is enough for me.

Who makes a cross bike with a short effective TT? I'm looking for a 515, ideally. I'd love a Focus as they're cheap as chips, but the smallest in the range is 530...

From the top of my head, BMW GF02 Disc have a realistic 51.5cm top tube with a 73 degree ST (size 48).

Yes. But more like 73.5 I'd say.
