I'm in need of an Internet diagnosis...
The buckle section on my left daily commuting shoe fell off a while back and I've just been riding without it. Finding a replacement was a hassle and I couldn't be bother to spend the £s when I figured I'd replace them at some point.
I've got pains in the tendons running along the top of my foot. It comes and goes but now seems fairly consistently bad. It's far from crippling but this morning it was enough to make me not want to ride on it.
Could the buckle and the pain be correlated? My logic is that without the upper support keeping my heal in the tendons along the top need to work to keep my heal in. Commuting on a fixed gear means there's more stop and start, therefore more pressure. Further I leave my left permanently clipped in so its often the one receiving the initial pressure away from the lights.
Does that all seem plausible or not ?
Cheers.

I believe that having seen the link, I want to know if the older Rocs haz adjust.
Older Rocs haz. 100%. Definitely. All the ones I've owned have, both the basic Roc ATAC (the all-grey one) and the Roc ATAC S (with the red bits on).
They're claiming the Roc = XC2 and the Roc S = XC4 which is why so many people (including me) assumed they would carry the adjustment over from the basic Roc to the XC2.

I don't know anything about speakers I'm afraid but I have a Pure dab radio this one and the sound quality is good.
And @ tommmmmmm
I had this dilemma and then realised I was using my iPhone for radio more and more (tune in radio - which seems to be getting better and better as an app. In the end I got a jambox mini. At RRP it's expensive. TBH even at £100 or whatever you can find it at it's still more than a lot of the other options but it really is great. Very small, very good sound (for what it is - ie not a full sized speaker), would definitely recommend and would buy again.
It's also worth noting that the jambox comes nicely packaged and has lots of extras including a male to male audio cable.

Is there any way of dating a Phillips frame from it's number?

I need a new phone, I've already got a sim card.
Car phone warehouse sell the phone I would like for £100 sim-free or £70 (plus £10 top up) with a PAYG sim. I've heard the vast majority of phones from car phone warehouse are unlocked.
Any reason I shouldn't save myself £20 and get a phone with a sim and switch it out for mine?

PAYG phones are notorious for being network locked
Can't you just by a PAYG on your network? Or is that what you plan on doing?

Carphone warehouse phones are pretty much always unlocked, I have always just asked them in store and they have been happy to tell me whether it is locked or not.
They don't have phones associated with sims, they have big buckets of phones and big buckets of sims so just pull out one from each bucket when you go in.
This is unless it is some sort of special release or an iphone etc.

I've got a GiffGaff sim, just thought there might be a catch what with it actually being cheaper to get the same phone with a sim as compared to sim free, but it appears not.

If you get a phone plus credit for your network, there shouldn't be a problem.
However this may not be possible if you're using Giffgaff or an other VMNO.
EDIT: Check on Giffgaff's forum. Most phones have been tested by someone on there.
At least some do, not sure if the ones they're selling do, I kinda doubt it.
