is there a difference?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fender
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fender_(vehicle)
Possibly no more than the difference between English and American 'English'.
Probably not important unless you are uncomfortable with the creeping Americanisation of your native language?
Almost certainly irrelevant when the real issue is water /mud / shit / roadkill and where it gets to in the course of a ride...

Nonsense.
I use both gears on my 2 speed all the time. With the limited inertia from the small wheels it's nice to drop into the low gear to accelerate quickly. Especially if you're carrying a load. For the small extra cost and weight it's a no-brainer.Like I said, it's very much my opinion rather, I couldn't get used to the two speed option, look like you did, everyone's different.

What is 'oxygen debt'?
Who first coined the phrase?http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=anoxic&allowed_in_frame=0 Is the closest I can get.
Probably some kind of sports physiologist. If you're actually asking what is it, it seems to mean the total amount of oxygen required post-exercise to return all respiratory systems to normal homeostasis.
-
• #48462
It's the amount of oxygen reality TV "stars" owe the rest of us after wasting it on keeping their putrid sack of shit lives going much beyond 12 years. The royals also have a massive oxygen debt.

Stupid question alert (cross-posted from garmin thread) Will this memory card work in a 800 edge? http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDHC...%2B-SD-Adapter
Ta!
The link doesnt work for me but any Micro-SDHC card works fine. I ordered mine (8Gb Sandisk) for €7 each.
I also have a question. If I remove my a rim-strip to adjust the internal spoke nipples, do I have to replace the rim-strip or can I just re-use the old one, and do I have to glue it or anything?
-
• #48465
^ Link fixed! Thanks, I will order it now. I guessed they would all work but I was spoilt for choice, so many different types these days!
-
• #48466
^^ If the rim strip you've taken off looks in good nick and doesn't have obvious defects then reuse it. No need for glue - the valve and inner tube will hold it in place.

Fender, mudguard. It's not my native language and I work for a US company.
What I wan't are full mudguards (not those detachable things) for my fixed running on 700/25 that look a bit more 60's (but not expensive). I got mounting holes near the front and rear axle. It's an old tour/race bike.

Cross posting from the roadsafe thread, can someone help me with this:
...can anyone get details on a plate GN61 KFF? I'm pretty sure it was that as the company livery was KFF, so it was easy to remember, it could have been GL though. Sadly roadsafe have come back to me saying that they can't match the plate, which is a bit pathetic given that I told them it was a KFF-liveried beige artic and there really can't be that many of those.
