(btw, a bit better doesn't mean it's going away. It's just a bit better)

Which one have you got?
M, but putting the S and M side-by-side, the difference is that the stem on the S is slightly longer than the M.
S Type – 935mm
M Type – 1015mmS type is 80mm lower.

What gearing option did you go for? Would I be right in thinking the 2 speed is 2 exposed cogs and the three speed is an enclosed hub?
-
• #48405
Yup, basically to keep the weight down, but IMHO singlespeed would be a better idea (and cheaper) as you're likely to never use both gear.
3 speed - internal hubs.
2 speed - derailleur.
6 speed - both derailleur and internal. -

I did a long ride this weekend. I got 2 problems:
I got pain in my Achilles in my left leg. I had a cramp and it's still painful. Walking up stairs is especially annoying.
Even though I got a nice Selle San Marco saddle and a nice cycling short, I have a problem with pain in that little place between my anus and my balls. It results into numbness and that's not a good thing. I hope to have kids one day. I've placed my saddle a little bit forward and it's a bit better but now I have to keep moving myself back to the back of the saddle.
Is there someone here with tips?
- Try moving your cleats back a bit
- Try a different saddle so the weight is on your sit bones, adjust so you're not sitting on the nose of the saddle and a bunch of other bike fit-related suggestions

We use Benwells in Bermondsey, they're high-end/low-quantity (relatively), but very good

Ahhh yes.
I've had a quote off Ben. Very pricey! -

Anyone on here live in Avignon, or know someone who does? A few of us are looking for somewhere to leave some bike bigs for a week.

achilles pain can be due to over stretching the tendon - i.e. saddle too high / far back. be careful because they can take ages to heal if badly hurt. general advice is to maintain flexibility with gentle stretching and avoid heavy work load.

Brompton owners: the real-life difference between an S-type and an M-type? I want simplicity but a relaxed ride (I've got a road bike for commuting/rides)
How tall are you? I'm got the M type as the handlebars are slightly higher

Do you want to dj it or do you want to have a longer lasting proper record? You could get acetates done if you were playing out somewhere but if you want proper vinyl search for small run pressing. I reckon they'd press whatever and not care about copyright. It's loads cheaper over here than in Oz (not that you care) and there's probably some continental options worth looking into if you want more than one pressed.

cheers. it'd be for playing, not DJing, and long-lasting preferred.

Earlier today a bus advertising along its entire side the new Simon Pegg film 'The World's End' was immediately followed by another displaying on its front its termination at 'Chelsea - World's End'.
Was this a dual sign of impending doom?
