They have a sticker on them which says it is illegal to ride them on the roads. Bike shops can sell a track bike for the track, not their fault if it is ridden on the road. I think they should all be informing people how dangerous it is to do so, in my opinion.
Oh why you know more than Darwin? (Can't be arsed with meme graphic).

It's the same scenario like with those annoying monkey bikes.
They aren't read legal (no tax/insurance), but you always see chavs racing them around the estates.
Their engines are often tunes. Same for the tuned up mopeds with drilled exhausts kids use without CBT, even they can easily go to 50mph. -

whats up with the exhaust drilling? does it enhance the things performance in any way? or is it simply to be as annoying as humanly possible. like the kids that sit at the back of the bus who clearly don't get enough attention at home playing tinny R&B thru a phone speaker?

and on a similar note - why do you never see baby pigeons?
They spring, fully grown, from the bodies of adult pigeons. Sort of like Athena and a greasy, diseased phoenix rolled into one.

It used to in the olden days, when restricted 50s and 125s were held back to their legal limits by the use of a simple orifice plate flow restrictor in the exhaust, in some cases as simple as a washer between the pipe and the port on the barrel which would conveniently fall out when you took the pipe off. I thinks it's a little more sophisticated these days.

My daughter is too heavy for child seat now, so she goes back in the trailer and I'd like to fit a rack for pannier bags.
Can someone point me towards a reliable detachable rack (rear and maybe front also or a basket) for frames which were not made to have one?
I'd like something which would withstand panniers.
I can google, but perhaps someone has a first hand experience.

Thanks. That would be sufficient for city riding - sent a PM to tilover.
If anyone knows about something bigger and sturdier which would also suit audax, feel free to add your 2p. -

So I'm using an LCD as a monitor in the study at the moment, this is mainly so I've got the bigger display for work. Can anyone give me some tips on calibrating the bloody thing?

I imagine that I do know more than Darwin in certain niche areas, yes. Genetics? Perhaps not.

I don't know.
In Mac OSX you just follow the directions in your Display Preferences if you don't have the proper tool/software. That's it. -

and Kris, please say you're putting the panniers on the Simoncini, that would look hilarious.

If I sell the Grubb, yes - I will put the on Simoncini.
Still looking for a 650 carbon front, though (either Zip 440 type or trispoke) -

Why is my body so stiff and achey (not a real word)?
-
• #4844
Possibly a cold or similar virus.
Or the onset of an ultimately fatal mysterious disease, to be characterised by increasing physical dysfunction, increasing pain and discomfort, building to a crescendo of unimaginable suffering and distress. Shouldn't worry about it too much if I were you.

unless you use hardware (eye-1 or spyder)to calibrate then you are not going to get anywhere near the ideal calibration (2.2 d65 120c/m2).
just tweak the buttons until it looks good.
it's something that you either do properly or don't bother doing at all. -

Why can i not find a copy of Bassnectar's Mesmerizing the Ultra album for less than 70 quid?! It only came out in 2005, what's happened?

Thanks for tips it just doesn't seem able to replicate the colours of the laptop screen. Do tvs not have the same dynamic range of monitors?
