Any decent Uk or London based road bike forums?

Copied from the Android thread - may be better here;
So thinking about buying one of these; http://www.belkin.com/uk/p/P-F8Z492 to use spotify on my Android/ iPad then stream it to the speakers in the living room/ any other room.
Would this be as straight forward as pairing it with the Phone, opening Spotify and playing?
Another one - what is the battery life like on S2 if I'm using Bluetooth?

Are these worth the price he's asking? (C Record Pista Pedals)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171047398739?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648
I think part of the cage has been clipped and a couple of bolts seem to be different on one pedal to the other.

So my bb is creaking like a creaky thing and when I went to inspect it last week I sort of threaded the pulling threads on the nds arm. In my moment of shrill facepalming I just put the bolt back on and it went away.
This morning I rode to the station, no creaking, but when I got off it's when I noticed the noise.
I had no access to a 14mm socket to check the bolt today so rode slowy cringing expecting the bb to externally implode.
My question; if I were to assume the crank bolt is tight enough and the threads do not have enought to remove the arm then probably the bb is at fault and may need tightening or replacing, will I need a new crank arm and is this a job for the lbs to remove and replace if I were to source a new arm?

After all that I get off the train and little to no creak. The bit of metal retaining the tension nut on my pedal has broken off and its the springs creaking. Put my foot in the otherside and noisy creaky time.
Second shimano 520 metal to break.

Which grease for bearings?
Shimano dura ace, Finish Line ceramic grease or Finish line teflon grease

• #46258
That's way over the odds.
What are they recommending? I used to go KL regularly and my folks spend half the year out there.
I normally just make sure hep A and Typhoid up to date.
Cheers, J, exactly the advice I needed... x

Which grease for bearings?
Any molybdenum disulphide grease from a motor factor, a 500g tin will last you a lifetime and costs less than any of the above.

Perfect, thanks tester!

I would go for the one that is easiest to remove from a carpet, unfortunately the descriptions and reviews do not mention this, even though this is the most important property of grease for a 'home mechanic'.,

No carpet in my house, and I work outside mostly, but thanks for that haha

Where could I get a seat post custom built?
It may not be possible, but I'd like to see whether it's possible to have a seat post built that provides more layback than my current velo orange one (which gives pretty much the most layback commercially available seat posts can)
I don't mind if it's steel like the nitto s84 if strength is an issue
(whilst this nitto post has loads of layback at 40mm, the clamp is wider than teh VO one so i wouldn't give significantly more layback in reality)

can anyone suggest a decent mtb flat pedal?

Superstar nano tech or some other variant of the same pedal. I think carbon cycles do the cheapest version but only in black.

My bike supposedly does fit, well according to bespoke cycles anyway
it's a subtle adjustment I'd like to make, just moving the saddle backwards a bit.
But yes if I went to have a frame built you can be sure as hell that it won't have a 76 degree seat tube
Tbh I could achieve the layback with one of my shitty posts and a VK layback adapter thing,
but i'd like something that actually looks nice as well. But thanks..

Sorry you just reminded me!
Another solution that could easily solve the problem but am stubborn and don't want to:- Get rid of the fucking brooks!

Speedplay drilliums?

^^ They're good for me, but I ride pretty upright anyway.

Yeah my one has treated me well through my SR series this year and looks great.
I've invested too many hours "sculpting" the thing I don't want to put it on the shelf :(The issue here is my 76 degree seat tube, brooks give layback issues on a normalish ~73 deg frame letalone this...

What is the best value headset that will fit a Surly Steamroller with stock forks? Very preferably from Evans. I've never had to get anything other than 1"threaded so the world of ahead systems is rather novel...
Thanks. Did that, went to Leyland SDM on Googe Street. They have a scanner that gives the nearest matching paint. Will be painting a wall in this colour on Saturday, hopefully it will look OK for the client.
