Because I ride longer distances on my fixed I wan't a lightweight frame I can easily push up a hill.

mdcc_tester, it's ok to have a steel frame at the track. There is no climbing involved so weight is not a real issue. For some races it is required to ride a steel bike (NJS). But for riding outside in the wind, up hills and mountains, it's much better to use a lightweight frame and fork. Because I ride longer distances on my fixed I wan't a lightweight frame I can easily push up a hill. I'm trying to make myself lightweight by cycling and going to the gym but my bicycle has to loose some weight as well.
Besides, alu looks better.
For riding longer distances you'll want steel, it's generally more comfy.
Also steel is really not inferior, not hard to cover long distance or ride up hills on.

It's more about widening your search rather, decent alu frame can be as comfortable as steel, especially if you take care in choosing tyres size, pressure, saddle setback, reach etc.
Steel is much more readily available, especially steel road frame with horizontal dropout.
Ironically enough, the Dolan Precursa weight similar to a steel frame.

I had size 43 Sidi's on the other day and they fit great. Will I regret not paying extra for a full carbon sole in the future?

Exactly this, my steel F&F weighs a fair bit less than a pre cursa of similar size.

Sort of cheating, having a carbon rear triangle though.

And part that probably won't survived one day in London, or Hippy's groceries shopping trip.

I used to rip alu/carbon bonded frames apart during crits just for fun.

That's only because you kept leaning.

Whilst it was a good intimidation tactic, I still don't think this was fair play in the paddock before a race you know. On their bikes.

Ok wel I think the Dolan is a nice looking frame. Might go for that.
At least it's not a Cinelli.

Is that the first time that's been said?
At least a Dolan is not a Cinelli.

Yeah I heard Cinelli frames are good I just don't like the colors they use. There don't sell a frame I'd actually want to have. I wouldn't mind a free one but I would get it repainted.

But it didn't fit your critic of it's being heavy, I thought you wanted a light frame to improved your climbing prowess?
At least it's not a Cinelli.
You can't make this up.

I need to buy some paint for a client so that they have a wall in their office that matches their corporate colour. They have given me a pantone colour, 2995 C, does anyone know what paint colour may match. I cannot find a matching RAL colour, the nearest is RAL 5012, but the client doesn't think this is close enough.
Google is not really helping me with this.
Many thanks in advance.

Does anyone know anything about app development costs?
Well I need to find out hypothetically how much it would cost to develop an instagram/snoopify style app that would sell for 99p
I then need to know if it were successful what kind of projected downloads it would have over three years.
How many people would it take to run an app like this? I need really rough figures.
-
• #46221
i can't see any app selling for 3 years.

I know I know but its in theory

Just take it into a paint shop? They have those nifty machines where they can mix up any colour for you.

Does your GP not do them? Also, think about what you'll be doing. We were recommended loads of stuff for going to Tanzania, but once you realise that you are not planning on sleeping with the locals, or handling animals etc., there's quite a few things that you can cross off.
On the other hand, if you're likely to go anywhere where you'll need the same vaccinations in the next 5 years, see it as a long term investment.
Nah, looked at a specialist travel vaccination place and it looks like it'll cost us a few hundred pounds each... We're only gonna be there for three days in total so hardly worth it...
We may have to fly straight through...
