Sorry for my mild hysteria yesterday. I tried this before I went to bed to have nightmares about giant blue stickers invading Earth and once they were stuck to you, there was no getting them off. Ever.
Before you use nail varnish remover try WD40. Spray it all over the sticker and leave it to soak overnight. Repeat the process a few hours later and see if an edge has come loose. It should loosen up the glue and definitely won't cause any damage to the paintwork which nail varnish remover might.
But happily, this ^ worked a treat.
PS - the sticker was from the bike shop original owner purchased from. So it had been on for 20+ years.
Carry on.

Do I risk the hair dryer treatment?

I need to paint the top of my foot blue, When you need to paint a section of your bodies in semi-permanent paint, what do you ladies use?

No lack of feminine expertise on this thread at least

I know there are lots of girls/women/ladies on the forum, yet so few of them/you appear to post current projects. The main one that comes to mind is LongAndWing's beautiful Demon Frameworks project. http://www.lfgss.com/thread77424.html , but that was ages ago.
I'm quite happy to be proved wrong. I might simply not notice, especially as gender isn't immediately obvious from a username or avatar. This thread about ladies bikes has had only seven pages worth in nearly three years. http://www.lfgss.com/thread46170.html
Why? Tinkering with bike parts isn't an exclusively male preoccupation by any means. I once met a lady in real life and she told me so.
Anyone?
I can't post my current project as it's taking so fucking long that ChainBreaker will be riding his bike before mine is done. It's bad enough that the mechanic in my LBS laughs at me whenever I go in.

No, cheers for the answer. I'll sleep on all the advice and get on to this tomorrow.
Thanks
Have you considered homeopathy?

Where's missmouse gone?
-
• #42360
She left the forum to focus on her treatment because at times it proved an unhelpful distraction and certain members were bringing her down.
She is still on FB. -

Yes, it does - this is (one of the reasons) why medical trials are conducted double blind.
-
• #42362
still on FB.
So is Indra, but I'm trying my very best to avoid him ;-)

Meh well things like that don't usually work for me, this did so why should it even matter if it helps.

"Where's missmouse gone?"
"For those of you who will ask, missmouse asked if I could delete her account as she wants to focus on her recovery and LFGSS is proving to not be helpful to that end."
Greatly missed...

Ebay purchase cancelled by mutual consent, but I have yet to receive a refund.
Seller gone quiet after some guff about trouble with his PayPal account and getting a friend to refund me.
EB appear to consider their involvement at an end, as the sale has been cancelled.
PP seem to pass responsibility for anything related to EB sales straight back to EB.
Can't find anything helpful about cancelled sales, only refunds relating to good not received.
Suggestions please.

Shouldnt have cancelled the purchase till you got your refund for future reference,
else paypal case direct, or is that telling you to go through ebay? and i take it ebay wont let you take a case because the purchase is cancelled?
Phone ebay is the next step
