Elvis, I'd go for the Pinnacle Neon as it's lighter.

Nice Ed, thanks. I hadn't spotted that. And we could try that out.
Spec is maybe not quite as good, but if it feels right!

Ed, I just read somewhere that the Pinnacle is close to 20lbs. Is that right?
Seems bloody light for the price.

It is, I was impressed that the cheapest model weight not too dissimilar to the high end Neon simply by doing away with a triple crankset.
weight about 10kg from my scale at work.

Thanks Ed. I think that in the male version might be perfect.

could someone point me to a manual download of the strava app for android? The market has taken taken exception to my phone, it's hiding it from me.
-
• #38034
Ah- that means that it might not work on your phone.
-
• #38035
apparently it does, but can be a bit unstable. It's rooted and underclocked and generally fucked around with though, so I'm just going to give it a go.
Found a download just now, fingers crossed. -

I'd says it does but for some reason it think it won't work.

Where in London I can pick up a fabric similar to a HGV tarp? Need a small amount to cover my mudguard so my feet won't get wet.

You've got two other things you could probably exercise instead, though. Maybe even more!
I’m 12 years old and what is this

That's good, how do I go about killing inner tube? I mean what kind of trap would be idea?

Unless she is unusually tall I would always opt for 26" wheels. Makes the bike more manageable & handle better as well as giving access to a wider range of lower priced comfortable tyres.

Blackthorn hedge trimmed by an idle b*****d who failed to clean up killed mine. I know where I'd like to set traps.

My most successful improvised mud-flap so far is made from milk bottle plastic, cut to slot up between the guard and the bracket the stays attach to, and held in by glue. (You want at least a 2-pint bottle.)

when you buy a dishwasher does it come with all the fittings or will i need to get a wastewater pipe etc?
-
• #38047
These are the ideal shape for making a mudflap, they used to come in black which even looked kinda professional.

Are you supposed to write all that on a big bit of card and hang it off the mudguard?

More advice, than a question. The Revolution Courier Race from the Edinburgh Bike Coop. http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/products/revolution-courier-race-12#
It's for my GF who wants something lightish and fastish to get around on. I see this as better than most hybrid options which all seem a bit bloated. It's also considerably cheaper than the hybrids I like, Sirrus etc.
If she likes this, then she can commit to a road bike in time. Anyone have any experience, thoughts?
