Any good car polish for a glossy protected shine (woof).
Tf2 chain lube.

This is more about cleaning a mountain bike after some dirty trails, methinks. Soap and water and all that.

How does one tell how many gears a hub is meant for? I have a Campag spleened rear hub (unsure of model) which came minus cassette and I could do with some gearage. Photo's to follow when I'm not at work.

It's good that your hub has a spleen. I constantly worry about the immune systems of my hubs which don't have one.

Is there's no alternative to the SRAM Torpedo hubs?

I know it's cheaper and better to man the fuck up and flip the wheel round once you got to the top of the Alps, but it would be very useful to have a hubs with a switch that doesn't have a really annoying lags.
