In that case, just get a butterfly bolt or some other kind of expanding bolt, stick it in there , screw something onto the bolt that you can get a hold of, and giver bags of chalk wadi.

just come back from richmond park. coming down sawyer hill at full pelt. suddenly my bars front forks and front wheel start wobbling like crazy im shitting it holding on to a bucking bronco but somehow manage to stop without stacking it. what the hell happened??

Based on a wealth of anecdata I am going to say your headset is loose.

Not necessarily; it could be tight.

But perfect headsets can exist on bikes which shimmy, it has many possible causes.

i tightened the front qr and it didnt happen during the other 4 laps i did altho i was a lot more cautious during those descents. its just come back from a tune up so maybe its not quite as in tune as i thought.

Get up to ~30 mph or so and take your hands off the bars, then tell us what happens
