what tubing is a frame likely to be made of if the seattube is 26.2?
Is that for the maybe-Olmo in Classifieds?

Why can we not pass a baton through 400 metres?

• #32931
replace it for a gregs sausage roll and we'd probably do much better

Intriguing. Risk of sogginess/falling apart altogether come the final changeover. Substitute it for a rolled up copy of The Sun, with a peek at page 3 on the final turn, and we're done.

or a TV from dixons?

Wall thickness 1.2 at the top of the seat tube could be plain guage gas pipe or a heavy duty butted tube. I had a couple of frames in Tange butted high tensile steel which took that seat post size, but unless you've found one of them, it's more likely gas pipe.

its a nice looking frame, but its swedish from the 80's so it may well be gas pipe.
here's another one for an example

How do cycle reservations on East Midlands trains work? Their site told me I had to download a Word document(!?) and fill out the details and then email it back to them(!?) so I did and then got an auto message back saying they'd look at my email within 10 days(!?) but certainly no fewer than 20 days(!?)
Then I got another email from some guy saying "thanks for your email, here's your reservation reference", but the original Word document says in the small print that the Word doc IS the reservation document and that it needs an "authorisation code" on it to be valid. I have no idea if the "reservation reference" is the same thing or what. I've emailed the train company back to enquire and got the automated "up to 20 days, lolza" message back.
Has anybody successfully negotiated this system before?
Bizarre. Try booking through East Coast? They seem to let you book bikes on pretty much any network.
What Bendix said; book using eastcoast.co.uk
East Mids trains is a bit sucky. Bike reservations through eastcoast are easy.

Aside from the fact they don't know the difference between chain width and pitch these look like they might be OK, what do you think?

I need to find an 18t 3/32nd sprocket and now Hub Jub is out of business...
Brixton Cycles out of stock Tokyo fixed snooty about 3/32nd.
Any leads?
Ideally I'd like an EAI deluxe. -

Yup, its a ticketed event. You still might be able to get a glimpse, never been to the hadleigh course.
I remember going to see the Birmingham Superprix every year as a kid, they would charge if you wanted to sit on the stalls. Otherwise free. I reckon it could be similar.
