Yep, no one on here ever believes that you could be both training and want decent kit.

• #32554
Problem is your weren't upgrading your wheels.

Me? I'm very happy with my wheels

No, I've just seen this Wiggins chap on telly and thought I'd get a bike. Thing is, I want wheels like his so I'm faster than all these other people in my office who've just bought a bike...
Problem is your weren't upgrading your wheels.
What was I doing then?

Your wheels only need to deal with a turbo anyway don't they? :P

Buys new wheels

Asking if Chinese carbon wheels were worth it. You've been told "no".
-
• #32561
In terms of aerodynamics that's probably true- they are a nice way of dropping a load of weight though.
Whether you should be dropping weight or trying to be more aero is a different question mind.
I've gone for aero.

I'm looking into different options for upgrading my wheels. Carbon from China was one thought, there are others. I don't have a copy of the LFGSS rules and regs to hand - which one have I broken?

I didn't have a particular answer I wanted. I just came to ask about bicycle wheels.

See answers above ^^

This isn't really making any sense. Thanks for the wheel advice folks.

New issue of Cycling Plus has a review of wheels they consider suitable for a first upgrade, along with a cover photo indistinguishable from the preceding issue and a free gift you'll probably never use.

Ah, I may check that out, thanks.

Why is the LFGSS logo at the top black, and aliased all of a sudden?
-
• #32573
because a cyclist was killed today
-
• #32574
I never realised that happened. Oddly touching.

ENVE win.
In typical LFGSS fashion this has gone from asking about a wheel upgrade to being told to HTFU.
