Nick one out of somebody's parts bin, they are nearly all M6 threaded so you should find something which fits.

I am looking to get something a little racier than 32 plain gauge spokes on heavy-ish rims and hubs. Is it futile to look for that on a budget of less than £1,000?
It's futile to spend much less than £1000 and expect your wheels to be measurably faster than the Shimano RS30. You would be able to measure a difference over your current wheels if you bought the said RS30, though. More than the difference relacing your wheels with CX-Rays would make, and for less money.

I know this sounds wanky, but I wouldn't have Shimano wheels on my bike, even if I could fit the right cassette.

What tattoo does Wiggo have on his right hand?

How come the Aussie Shara Gillow was riding with a front disc in the olympic TT? I thought they were riding to UCI rules where a certain percentage of the front wheel has to be open.

I thought the RS30 look rather smart

Do you have the regulation number which says this, because I can't find it in my copy of the UCI regulations. 1.3.018 is the main wheel regulation, but it specifically doesn't apply to time trials. The '45% open area' rule is for domestic time trials run under CTT regulations.

I run Campagnolo.

I run Campagnolo.
That shouldn't stop you from using the front RS30, if you are actually primarily concerned with going faster rather than just posing about.

I'd like to pose about a bit faster, frankly.

If the conditions in Hampton this afternoon were anything like Fifield this evening, it would have been a bit of a hand full. I was getting blown about with a Hed 3 in front.

So why are you posting? Go ride.

Does anyone have photos of riser bars set up with a cross brake lever and, possibly, grips slammed right up to the stem?
I'm looking at a set of Nitto B259s with long keirin grips but I'm a little baffled how to rig up my front brake in a way which is a) functional and b) not wank-looking.

I'm at work.
Ride after work or before work or during work. Time not at work is training time.
Where might I purchase a replacement bolt for my Tektro R510 brake caliper, as mine has sheared? It's the hollow bolt that threads into the top right to adjust the brake. You know the one, the one with the cable going through it.
