Except when it's at the national level, it's what right-wingers with an anti-immigration agenda want you to think.

You should know by now that suggestions for things like shoes and helmets are pointless unless you've tried them on for size.
Since you asked..
I was thinking more about technical advances that I might be unaware of.
In terms of fit, a medium Spesh works well, and I'm pretty impressed with how mine performed yesterday when I was using my head to slow down.

I try to use the exact amount of milk required for the cereal, but in the shocking event that I've used far too much, I don't like milk enough to drink it but don't like to waste it, so I have to add more cereal to the milk and eat it until it's all gone.
But sometimes I add too much cereal and it's too dry and I have to put more milk in, and the cycle continues.
I have this problem when adding water to whiskey, often resulting in half pints of the good stuff just before beddy byes.

Is that because you couldn't take corners due to toeverlap?

ahah the toe overlap wasn't too bad at speed, it was more my dragging of toe clips along the floor as my feet were on the other side of the pedals
too embarrassed to do anything but look at the floor

Are you prepared to argue that the rest of the world's Soya usage is for human consumption only?
If not then you're assertion that vegetarians and vegans are responsible for the destruction of the Amazon Basin is ill founded as it's the meat industry which propagate the problem.I didn't say that. Take a deep breath man.
Soya is found in almost all packaged food (soya lecithin) irregardless of whether there is meat in it or not. S'not just about your fucking Quorn burger. Defensive much.
And indeed it is true that the required energy and land needed to produce meat for consumption is inefficient, unsustainable and doing a lot of damage to the planet. Before you get offended, I couldn't give a fuck what you eat.
That's your choice but the mis-representation of the facts is annoying.I not offended, but thanks for the concern.
He didn't assert that.

^^ So, Rogan - is this the first time you've used clips? If so, loosen them right off so that you can slide in and out with ease. They won't help with power or anything if they're loose but you can get used to flipping and clipping. Then once you've got the hang of it you can tighten them up so that they aren't track tight (not so tight you need to hang on to something while loosening them before putting your foot down) but just snug enough that you can pop in and out. You'll be doing it without looking down in no time at all.
This or perpetual track stand for the win.

ah no not clipless pedals, like toe cages, because theyre heavy they like face down when theres no feet on them so when setting off its like a challenge of getting my feet in them before im going to fast to sort it out aha
-
• #30972
Yeah toe clips... like this. (at least this is what I'm talking about).
-
• #30973
Give it a couple weeks or three, and you'll get used to it.
Bit odd to flip the clip while the cranks' moving, but it's a skill you can learn and take advantage of it in life.

• #30974
ah right i see wrongcog!
Ive taken the straps off so hopefully i can get used to just getting my feet in the clips first, thanks for the advice!
(also is it normal to be finding 'skid' stopping almost impossible right now? i can slow down my pedalling resistantly quite quickly but nothing in the sense of emergancy stopping)

My other half is nagging me to go on a "hot holiday", which means sun, sand, beach, maybe a spot of sight seeing. Sounds awful to me, but in 9 years she's mentioned it hundreds of times and it's never happened. I always end up going on city breaks to see friends, bike touring, that sort of thing. So... I've said I'd be up for it in theory, if I can take a bike.
Where would have sun, sand and beaches, possibly some nice touristy things too, for her (and me, post-ride), and some cracking early-morning rides for me? Maybe some nice climbs too...
He didn't assert that.
