How often do you have access to wifi? I could get away with almost nothing on data plan since I'm within wifi range 90% of my time.

I use my phone all day for work emails, personal email, twitter, facebook, instagram and forum all day.

I also often have to connect my laptop to the internet via the iPhones 3G to download documents when I am out on site. Which is heavy on data usage.

My average monthly usage is 336MB.

i'll be on wifi for the majority of time - obviously this reduces the usage, but i still don't really have any concept of how much data is downloaded particularly on mobiles. i've heard opera mini is good for reducing the data usage, will give it a go when this shit phone arrives.

i definitely wont be using my phone for 3g plugged into my laptop! it seems that 250mb is the minimum most people offer, so i presumed it would equate to a fairly minimal amount of browsing/facebook/twitter etc..

once you start watching porn at every opportunity just to see if you can get away with it, 250mb will be long gone won't it?
