i'll be on wifi for the majority of time - obviously this reduces the usage, but i still don't really have any concept of how much data is downloaded particularly on mobiles. i've heard opera mini is good for reducing the data usage, will give it a go when this shit phone arrives.
Reset the data and see how much you'd use on an average day.
I only ever used a lot when downloading a movie or tv episodes from iTunes.
Besides, browsing and checking emails is ok - even when you send loads of photos.I've just checked my IPad and used something around 210mb in a month, because posted dozens of full resolution photos.
With very heavy usage abroad and dozens of photos sent it was something between 1-2gb a week.

Anyone know if it's possible to license a minibus type thing as a bus, and would it then entitle you to drive in bus lanes/take bus only turns?
Not 'cos I want to, but because one such was driving like an idiot (as well as if it was a bus) and upon remostration informed me it was a licensed bus, which I'd always assumed was limited to the big red public things.

Hmm, I've seen that school buses seem to use the bus lane in London...
That's about as much as I know. -

'Bus services in London are the responsibility of Transport for London (TFL), which gives contracts and licences to private bus operators.'

Public carriage vehicles can generally use bus lanes, and this includes black cabs, for instance. I can't remember what the exact rules are for small buses etc., but a lot of vehicles qualify by those rules.

Where can I pick up the spacers for a rear geared hub? Put a new cassette back on and lost one of the spacers for the cassette (plastic one between cogs)
Alternatively id love to buy one from someone on here.

LBS should have a few spares. Either that or another member on here might have some spare. Shouldn't need to pay for them, pennies if anything.

Recommendations for a nice, family friendly (me, mrs_com, my brother, his wife and their 6 month old) pub near London Zoo for getting food this Saturday afternoon/evening
preferably nice beer too but not a deal breaker

Edinboro castle has useless barstaff and will inevitably be busy.
Pembroke castle in Primrose does good food, but like most pubs in that area is full of Pricks.
Pigfarmer lives around there.Seconded on the Landsdowne.

Heading up to London to meet some friends this evening but need to get some dinner with the GF first. Any suggestions of decent but cheap eateries between Liverpool St Station and Brick Lane? Google suggests there is loads around but any recommendations?
