Dont get it?

I have a Garmin Forerunner 305, which connects to a PC via a USB cradle.
Normally one connects the cradle, then click the Garmin into place in the cradle, and it shows up in My Computer as "Garmin", and you can then upload the run.
Now however every time I put it in the cradle the Garmin turns on, and cannot be seen by the laptop. If I turn the Garmin off, it turns itself back on at once.
Anyone had this experience and know how to fix it?
I have downloaded the most recent drivers from the Garmin website, but I'm not getting to the point where they would be used- the Garmin needs to go into the cradle turned off, and then enter charging/connect mode, which it is not doing.

You may want to reconsider your intended career as semi-pro cyclist.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it on again (i.e. reboot your computer)
If that doesn't work, maybe a reset on the Garmin will. Not sure how to do that on a Forerunner, but it will be something involving holding down two buttons simultaneously, IIRC it's power and lap/reset on the Edge.

I fixed it, by repeatedly uninstalling the drivers, re-installing, connecting the Garmin, waiting whilst the laptop first blue-screened, then rebooted, then reconnected, then blue-screened again.
Finally, I discovered that putting the 305 on top of a yoghurt pot, rather than on the glass coffee table, made it work.

Is there any joy to be had rattlecanning the silver brake surfaces on my black cxp33s, as in is it possible to get a decent finish?

Mask it up, give it a go- prep the surface well first then lots of thin layers of paint, I reckon it'd be ok.

Tynan posted a thread about painting his rear rim bright pink (complete with NJS Noodle sticker), if you can find it

cool, reckon I'll give them a good coating of primer first... masking up all those spokes is definitely a job for a rainy day!

GT Rave late 90s road bike for £100 complete- yay or nay? Groupset and wheels are pretty bog standard, differing opinions (online) on the frame.... Worth buying with a view to upgrading over time? Or steer clear?

Then the answer to your original question would be "no".
