really need some decent brake pads, the basic shimano one is appalling.
I've never used anything other than Shimano. They stop fine if you keep your rims clean. I'm assuming the main benefit of the more expensive pads is that they leave less residue?

Ed Try Swiss Stop, I have never used them I usually replace std pads with Kool stops and really like them, I would like someone to tell me Swiss Stops are as poor as Shimano so i don't have to experiment with them myself.

Dolan's website (considering a track champion bike)

Marktplaats (again see above)
Velosaloon bike shop's website (trying to decide if I need a road bike)to summarise: I might be buying 2 or so bikes soon.
Although most of the time it might be imgur, buzzfeed,Youtube, twitter or facebook.

Dropout spacing.
The rear dropouts on my new frame are 121.30(ish) mm. This is about what I was expecting, and is standard for Single Speed/Fixed frames as I understand things.
The dropout spacing on the carbon front forks is 99.70(ish) mm, and the original Kona ones is 99.60(ish)mm. This also seems to be standard, but I wanted to just check before I go and order wheels.
Can someone just confirm this for me!
Thanks!

So your fork dropouts are to close together and your rears are too far apart. Great what fancy measuring tools can show you.

Its within the tolerances that I'd expect to be honest, I was just trying to find out if what I was expecting was correct. I used the callipers as they where to hand, and I'm not sure exactly where my steel rules are.
Also, Callipers are new toy to, any excuse to play with a new toy, right?

can i use 7 speed campagnolo shifters with shimano 7 speed groupset?

Campag levers + Shimano dérailleurs seems to be the more popular way around, so there are various tried and tested hacks if you look around. I think Chris Juden will tell you what the problem is, although his table doesn't cover 7s Campag, and neither does the J-Tek shiftmate, so you might have to do your own maths to come up with a combination of cable pull, shifter ratio and sprocket pitch which works.
