I've read that thread on WW, it was what got me thinking of getting those spindles.
I waa wondering if anyone on here had done this, and if so what their opinion was.

but lfgss is dammit's google, so he does not need to look these things up
for a man with a lot of weightweenie questions its odd that he asks them here
I'll remember this snidey comment the next time you post something off topic. Which will probably be later today.

I couldn't care less if Speedplay are cunts.

I would assume such a question would be best asked on WW. The kind of person who would do this kind of modification is more likely to be on that forum. If someone on lfgss has done this to their pedals I am inclined to assume they are also on WW.

i need some new hubs
the chainline for my goldtec's with the sram omnium is off
so would like a nice pair of hubs where the front can be used with a pit lock, as i tend to lock rear wheel and frame together its the front wheel that needs a secure locking system
what would people suggest? as the intention is to keep the hubs for a long time durability/robustness is important - ideally sealed bearings as its for use on the road
It's not the answer you want, but planet x rear track up rear and a decore road one upfront*. The truth is it's all you really need, and when the bearings finally go you can replace them with phils bearings.
Of course if you want something that bit better, then I would go for Mack. Quality, plus you can spec them so your collar 'n cuffs match. Or you could choose Royce, but then the price creeps up.
- In fact my on-one hubs have a hollow axle so I'm pretty sure you could file off the axle so the nuts are flush with the end and then pop a pitlock thru.... in fact I might to that.

Can anyone recommend an ultra portable DAB speaker radio. I was tempted by this:
...but put off by reviews.
I'm after something I can hold in my hand, has a rechargeable battery, and a speaker. If anyone has any recommendations it would be appreciated.
I use this...
About the size of a hardback book.
Good sound.
Good battery life.
Plug adapter for when you gots power.EDIT - just seen you want rechargeable battery. This is not the one for you.

^ But does it take AA or AAA batteries? -Because I can just buy rechargeable batteries.Yes, it appears it does and rechargeable ones recharge in it.
Cheers.

The two main straps on my Bagaboo have a self-securing tightening method, but I'm finding that every ten mins or so I'm having to tighten the straps as they are slowly working loose - granted it's worse when there is significant weight in the bag (although I thought that weight might actually help keep the straps tight?).
Can I do anything to the straps to make them stay tight? Are they likely to get better or worse over time?

I get the same on mine.
I guess you could attach some rougher material to the seatbelt webbing where it goes through the buckle so it increases friction and holds in place better. might make it tougher to tighten initially though.
