Tried to buy some spokes from useless LBS this morning - they did't have any long enough apparently (c.296mm). Can you buy single spokes?

Cheers to both of you, I'll check out SJS then Evans.
There I was, trying to support my local bike shop with my shiny 50p piece. Sod 'em, they're bloody awful.

WTF is the seat clamp size for a Fuji Roubaix Pro (the 853 one)? I've tried measuring it but my micrometer is cheap and crappy, can't get a definitive reading. Have tried googling and thought I'd got it when I discovered the front mech fits at 28.6 therefore the seat post clamp should be 28.6, non? No, I bought a 28.6 clamp off the bay, which arrived this morning but it's too tight even if I try forcing it with lube. Seat post is 27.2.
Does anyone know?

Link might not be as much use as i thought, elsewhere seems to suggest it is 29.6 or 30.00

^ Brilliant! Thanks MacReady, could sort of glean 30mm from the link :)

Do you know if there's a tool at LMNH?
There is pretty much every tool you could ever want at LMNH. Don't think they'd lend out something expensive though.

Why can't Scoot tell the difference between Sumo and his colleagues in video footage?
I thought Scoot worked in visual media, but is clearly blind.

Just out of interest (I know you already have your answer) which year is this roubaix pro from?

No reason why I want to know this other than being a nerd, but what is the most viewed youtube video? I've found one with 131,788,394 views, as of right now. That's a lot. I'm pretty sure there'll be far more elsewhere though?

Is there a geared equivalent to a pompino?

the Long Haul Trucker is close or maybe the cross check
My pub bike has a broken spoke, so I've just removed it. I've managed to iron out the slight buckle by tweaking the adjacent spokes but what I want to know is:
a) what's the risk of the whole wheel collapsing when I hit a speedbump in a drunken haze?
b) how much would it cost to get the wheel repaired? It's a 1970s Rigida pig-iron hoop.
