  • Osram 54w/535 f838?

    54Watts
    Length excluding pins 1149 mm
    G5 connection pins 5mm centre to centre
    tube dia 16mm

  • OT, I found a wallet today with a card inside with a name. I found the persons twitter but I don't have twitter. Anybody here who can help me and send a message to her with my phone number? Thank you.

  • Thank you. I bought a new tube and it seems that the light fitting is broken. Electrician is coming today.

  • does anyone know what fluorescent tube I need

    My policy is to not replace fluorescent tubes except in very narrow specific cases. It's nearly always better in the long run to replace the whole fitting with an LED substitute now. If your electrician doesn't immediately suggest this, lead him in that direction.

  • PMd and Tweet sent.

  • does anyone use GIMP for image manipulation?
    I would like to add a background layer (from one of 8 colours (randomly selected)) to an image, flatten, and save.
    In a batch process, as I have >20 images.
    i am sure this can be done. but am struggling to know how/find.

  • If a freehub bearings are seized, how would that present itself?

    I've just sold one on eBay that seemed to be working fine last week when the rim failed but the purchaser has said not one but both bearings are seized and he's taken it apart. Or more specifically the 2nd bearing was reported as also being seized after I offer to pay for a replacement...

    Just wondering if it is the buy a working item and return a broken item scam...?

  • this should be the easiest thing in the world. i have a line drawing in a .jpg file format. when I print it out, it's just a little bit too big. Must be able to print it at say 90% of its size. But how???????

  • Chrome has a print option to scale to custom % if nothing else
    (Right click on image, open with, Chrome, Print, more options)

  • But how?

    There must be hundreds of possible solutions, depending on which printer and which image manipulation apps you have.

  • Anyone knows what's the default steerer length on the alpina forks that factory pre-cursas come with?

    If I want to trim it down a bit next week, any shops in central that deal with it cheaply/anyone have a saw I can borrow?

  • Anyone knows what's the default steerer length on the alpina forks that factory pre-cursas come with?

    Almost certainly 300mm, but it's a decade since I built a PreCursa 🙂

  • Send me the image, I’ve potatoShop so can scale it easily and fire it back, if all else fails.

  • .qodef-media video {
    	width: 100%;
    	margin-top: 8px;
    }
    @media all and (max-width:1024px) {
    	.qodef-portfolio-single-item.qodef-e.post-1887.portfolio.type-portfolio.status-publish.has-post-thumbnail.hentry.portfolio-category-exhibitions .qodef-col--4 {
    	width: 100%;
    }
    	.single-portfolio .qodef-grid.qodef-layout--template > .qodef-grid-inner > .qodef-grid-item.qodef-col--8 {
    		left: 0 !important;
    		width: 100% !important;
    	}
    	.single-portfolio .qodef-grid.qodef-layout--template > .qodef-grid-inner > .qodef-grid-item.qodef-col-pull--8 {
    		width: 100% !important;
    		right: 0;
    	}
    	main.qodef-grid .qodef-grid-inner.clear {
    	display: flex;
    	column-count: 1;
    	flex-direction: column-reverse;
    }
    }

    Any indication based on the above how I could add borders only below a media item.

    A dev I paid added the above to the CSS on my site so that media (images and video) had borders around it rather than just stacked immediately next to each other. Only now there's a border on the video, top and bottom, but not on the still images. I'm also concerned that adding a border on the top and bottom would lead to a kind of 'doubling up' of the border height. So presuming that border on the bottom edge of all media would be best. Is there somewhere I can test our alternative code without buggering up a live site?

  • ^ the dev in question can't be reached to fix it, obvs.

  • Got a link to the page?

  • Ta for the offer. I took an oblique strategy in the end.

  • I wanted to get a PRO Vibe aero bar.
    Then I saw a Stealth EVO bar/stem combo and want that instead.
    Is one better than the other re ride quality or ease of cable install?

  • Is there a way to accurately (like to the nearest meter or so) calculate the straight line distance between two lat/long coordinates?

    They on a bearing of 45 degrees if that helps.

    51.4579567525874, -3.1788177379969
    51.46874938786769, -3.1642846489419014

  • Haversine formula.

    That level of precision is nuts too:
