reckon buttons and the whole frame might be placeholders for final design, possibly to make it work through that case thing

If it's indeed the iphone, it sure looks better than the old, especially if they sort the frame and buttons out. First time I see something that could replace my 2g one, don't like the look of the 3g one at all

As mentioned in the link, they've made it look much more like the rest of the Apple line up. I'll need a new phone by the time this one comes out, so looking forward to it. I've dropped my 2G so many times I'm amazed it's still alive.

Not to sure on the new design, I thought the curved edges were nice, although the new straight ones might make it harder to accidentally drop.... Nurseholliday....

Every time some apple device is released, the comments drive me absolutely mad. Its always something like:

That new one looks just like a Sony Ericsson m600i that I used to have. Except the SE had a full keyboard and ran Java apps (I made a very nice sync to Google thing to backup SMS messages to my Gmail account for it).

Just take the screen to the edges and make it flat and you're there.

Seriously the only thing which has put me off the Iphones has been the poor battery life and the pricing structure, when a new one is released they charge a lot for what you get in your monthly plan.
