Build Le car. What's the problem with your Mac book?

one of my RAM slots seems to be kaput. The mac won't start if both 1GB RAM Cards are inserted. If I take one out it will start but I run on half my RAM... It's not the card as I bought a new one and it doesn't work either...

any idea how to solve this?

either work with 1GB or send it to mac hospital... :(

get a pc!

Is it always the same slot, or can you put it in either slot and get the fault?

Apple's RAM slots have always been extremely close tolerance to insure a long lasting tight connection. Many users do not manage to properly seat their DIMMS out of fear of breaking the logic board. Are you sure you are seating it correctly? I never realised how shite Vista was until I had to support it.
I have computers at home running XP and Leopard, no fucking way will I switch to Vista.

Ahh, see I thought that page turning thing was just showing me their other bikes. Silly me.

Ive had my macbook for over a month but I still havent figured out the zoom thing with the trackpad (or any other means)

two finger scroll works perfect.

But not so for zooming. I managed to somehow zoom in after a few minutes of trying and it not reacting to my fingers really.

Well now I cant zoom out!

As far as I can tell the method is placing two fingers down and dragging them apart for zoom and together for zoom-out. (whilst holding the cmd key)

not working though. Any ideas?

sit further away from the screen.

just don't get jiggy with your shortcuts when showing a client your images and accidentally turn on universal access zoom function, resulting in a hard restart because you cant navigate to the toolbar. it makes you look very silly.
