I'm just putting the N50 through it's paces, and it sounds good, and in so doing have realised I've got a load of old phono and scart cables.
If anyone wants a joblot of them for free let me know, otherwise I'll take them down to recycling...

I renewed the rubber counterweight bush and set up my Linn LVX arm properly on Saturday. Sounds so good, been spinning records all weekend :)

Saw and heard this in a sample sale yesterday and I am enamoured of it, Bang and Olufsen Beoplay A9. Wouldn't spend £1,700 on it, but...

it did sound good, and it took me a look or two to figure out where the music was coming from..

Sample sale?! 1700 is retail isn't it? How much where they reduced by?

It was a denim sample sale. I imagine the speakers were not for sale.

Nah it's got more heft than you think, and it filled a shop space easily...

Plenty of 'em about on ebay, I think Nad are even still churning out a direct successor to it.

Love all things B&O except for their headphones... Recently heard a pair of Beolab 18, simply stunning in every respect (including their price tag).

Always been sceptical of b&o stuff. Just looks like commodified audio jewellery most of the time... That said, people seem to rate them so they must be doing something right.

In other news, the ps4 (Spotify) via Odac to NAD and 602s are doing a tremendous job of upsetting our neighbours with all the kids that never seem to go to bed.

Just dredged out my old NAD C320BEE system and KRIX speakers out from storage in dads garage. Hmm, have to set it up and run it for a while, lots of corrosion on the terminals and case of amp. Folks live by the sea in Sydney so everything is covered in a salty slime. hope nothing critical is damaged. He's nicked my CD player though cause his Rotel died. Luckily I'll be running a HD/streaming setup. Will post a pic soon. Also found my old Marantz amp and some kind of turntable, think it's something my grand dad built in the 60's!
