Don't see anything wrong with buying a ps3 right now, the ps2 was still getting some goods game made for it...

Had a 'mind blown' moment when I read fifa 14 was released for ps2

But yeah I've generally stayed one generation behind, got my ps1 when the ps2 came out, ps2 when the ps3 came out and it looks like I'll be getting a ps3 imminently. I was in CEX whilst shopping about and there's tons of really good games for under a tenner

Surely they'll be even cheaper once the PS4 is released?

From what I've read sony cut the ps3 price over the summer in an effort to boost sales before the ps4 launch and they are not considering another imminent price cut

Tempted to get a PS3 when the next game from Team Ico comes out, The Last Guardian I think it is. Between that, GTAV and The Last Of Us I think i'll be pretty well sorted.

I was under the impression The Last Guardian is due for release about the same time as Half Life 3

Well I bought GTA - after maybe 2 hours of career & an hour of online, so far I'd say it's looking like it'll be fun.

Online did confuse me a bit though. Do we have an LFGSS crew? It'd be good not to play with randoms...

The game keeps saying to go to GTA social & download an app - do these things help?

You should join Rockstars Social Club online as it gives you access to free stuff in the single player and online game...

Also, when you do.. let me know what your gamertag is and i'll invite you to the LFGSS crew.

If you haven't played this current gen of games you're in for a few treats.

I honestly think GTA V will keep me entertained for a long time yet. Rockstar have so many plans for this game with releases every couple of months.

I reckon next Christmas will be a good time to look for a new console. If they really do impress anyway.

What are people mostly playing on? I'm on ps3 and would love to do some crew stuff. Only really been dicking abut with a couple of mates online. PSN is hellomiles. Also I prefer the HTFU logo.
